this volume's giving a similar structure as Fables and Reflections but this one's my least favorite so far, as opposed to the sixth vol. and others for its one-shot-like tales that are hardly interesting perhaps only because of the execution but I still appreciate the concept. also when did the graphic artist turned abstract and minimalist (talking about issue #51) lmao

excerpts:
issue #51
"Is there any person in the world who does not dream? Who does not contain within them worlds unimagined?"

issue #56
"When a world ends, there's always something left over. A story, perhaps, or a vision, or a hope."

I can now see why this is a thousand-chapters-long manga

I’m still confused of not-so-normal forms and skills and ‘techniques’ of some characters (ex. pirate crew; wala nmn nilunok na devil fruit). idk if ganun lang talaga set-up ng mundo nila rito pero go I enjoyed naman

good start and amazing art style, I’m in love with the details. I’m still not used to this kind of genre but it works so!

more about delirium then despair and destruction... their conversation and all-over-the-place-topics is actually one of the scenes I wanna go back to someday. and the new art style! (as crazy as Delirium, how I love that???!)

p.s. Del best girl ever, literally, end of convo.

excerpts:
issue #41
"Change. Change. Change. Change... CHANGE. Change. Chaaaaange. When you say words a lot they don't mean anything. Or maybe they don't mean anything anyway, and we just think they do."

issue #43
"You lived what anybody gets, Bernie. You got a lifetime. No more. No less. You got a lifetime."

"You know the best thing about aeroplanes? It's looking out of the window at the clouds, and thinking, maybe I could go walking in there. Maybe it's a special place where everything's okay. Sometimes I do go walking in the clouds, but it's just cold and wet and empty, but when you look out of a place it's a special world... and I like that."

issue #48
"I like the stars. It's the illusion of permanence, I think. I mean, they're always flaring up and caving in and going out. But from here, I can pretend... that things last. I can pretend that lives last longer than moment. Gods come, and gods go. Mortals flicker and flash and face. Worlds don't last; and stars and galaxies are transient, fleeting things that twinkle like fireflies and vanish into cold and dust. But I can pretend."

there are still things that has to be improved but I'll give the two worlds and factory farming twists a big praise. although the dialogues are still a bit repetitive and highly centered only to 2-3 characters despite having a huge family at their backs, the pacing is so far the most sustainable so far.

the blind adventures begins with the bloodsucker trees that dries up live animals as their first encounter in the wild, escaped through the help of mr. minerva's guidebook. it's all good but I wish the other kids had the time to shine more than just the premium ones lol. the ending was fairly good so I'm still giving it a shot

+ solo moments & long dialogues contemplating about the same matters during the last 4 vols were enough, putting way too much in this one esp in the beginning was a bit of a stretch and repetitive.
