ADORED...I adored this book. What a lovely blend of mythology and romance, heartache and struggle. James and Hazel pulled on my all my emotions. Collette and Aubrey were equally touching.

This one felt a little beauty and the beast-ish but boy I still enjoyed it.

I really enjoy when a character acts like a balm for another character's past trauma. That type of connection feels destined. An easy, lovely romance perfect for a beach/poolside read.

I enjoyed Elloren. The story felt new. The biggest downfall is the length. I felt like plenty was just unnecessary. I understand given a new world you need info but it drug a lot for me.

I really liked reading this story that lead to the TV show Sweet Magnolias. They are very close in storyline. I loved the closed friendship and bond the three lady have.

Other than the steamy scenes being a bit much for me, I adored Rex and Daniel. They were complex and strong in their own way. The way they complimented each other was heart warming especially when they were exactly what the other needed.

There were bits of this that were very intense. As a mother I cannot imagine something like this happening in front of me but the perpetrator is so devious to hide it so well. My heart goes out to all those effected by this man sick mentality. I am happy those girls got justice.

A lovely slow growing romance with everything to love about Scotland: kilts, castles and lots of steaminess.
