this is the first time i read a book by Ashley Poston so i feel a bit unfamiliar with her writing style and sometimes it makes me confused like i missed smth, i loveee this book sm, a romance type book that's covered in food, travel and life!! this will be my comfort book and i will reread it

The story has a plot twist. I was amazed by the two characters in this book because they competed with each other's intelligence.
The main character is named Ishigami. When I read this book, I felt really sympathetic towards Ishigami because he is a genius but his life doesn't go according to his wishes and sometimes he was annoyed because he really sacrificed everything for love, but when I read the ending I understood why he sacrificed everything and I also understood why this book is called The Devotion of Suspect X
In this book, I was also amazed by one of the characters named Yukawa, amazed to see Yukawa solve this case with his intelligence, whose brain is as genius as Ishigami's.
