this family tree confuses me so much <3

BUT! overall, just an enjoyable read. i read the entire thing in less than 24 hours so clearly this series is doing something for me. i really liked the character development and how close all of the characters felt in this one. they all seemed to be risking it all for one another and i really liked that.

that ending was A Lot. and i'm really curious to see what comes next........... . ... ..

(either i'm lost or while avery thinks she's [redacted]'s daughter she's still pursuing the boys who could be... related to her??? WHY YOU SMOOCHING THEM THEN. am i MISSING SOMETHING)

I significantly enjoyed this book over the previous volume. Scott and Knives broke up (thank god, because the underage relationship was my biggest problem with the last book) and Knives is going completely apeshit. I think a lot of how she acted in this book was COMPLETELY uncalled for but, it is really realistic for how some people act during a breakup. She was comparing herself too much to Ramona and questioning things… even tho let’s face it. Scott ain’t worth that kinda stress. (No really tho how does this man date all these amazing women bc I don’t get it)

I have a very deep appreciation of the artwork in this book. The backgrounds are beautiful and even if the illustrations are kind of silly they are amazing to look at.

I really lked that there was more of a reversal in this book and that they changed things up a bit. Scott beat up Ramona’s hot evil ex-boyfriend (my man Lucas Lee) and defeated him. But, now it’s Ramona’s turn to deal with the same kinda BS and she has a smackdown with Knives.

Super curious to see where the next book takes us, I’m sure it’ll be interesting with the return of Scott’s first heartbreak - Envy.

ok! so i absolutely adore the artwork in this manga but, beyond that i didn't care for it too much.

it was the same story after story of tomie ruining another person's life after they'd fallen in love with her. it became tiring. i much prefer some of his other works that i have read but, still very interested in reading more from this author.

checked out the audiobook earlier this morning because I needed something to listen to on my day off and it was the only thing available. this book has been in the recommended book section at the library for the past few months and the cover caught my eye. I went into this book not knowing a single thing about it and I'm glad that I went into it blind. I know quite literally nothing about kpop and kdramas, so I for sure was not the target audience of this book.

really well written friendships. very easy read.

all in all, this was really good and I want to check out more from this author!
