i really enjoyed this book. i usually steer clear from these types of books (that cover being a major red flag) but one of my coworkers suggested this series and. okay, i was pleasantly surprised. i usually stay away from sexier books but it's not super-overdone in this series like i had expecting it to be.

i really enjoyed the chemistry that hannah and garrett have. garrett is probably the sweetest love-interest i've come across in a book. a lot of the things in this book also just, hit a little too close to home.

i'll be honest, i much prefer the first book in this series. there was more room for character development and i just didn't care for this pairing as much. i wish there had been more substance in the beginning rather than just the straight into it thing that they had going on (and immediate conflict).

the character's had good chemistry in the second half and i found myself really rooting for logan. i feel like a lot of the problems in this book could have been so easily solved if they had just... talked about things. but, still an enjoyable read none-the-less. excited to go onto the third book because i've heard such good things.

this book was a trip.

i usually don't gravitate towards mystery and crime novels but, my library has been having themed book clubs every week and i wanted to try it out. so pleasantly surprised and so glad that i read this one. i was confused a few times because there were just so many pieces to the puzzle but my goodness. THAT ENDING.

i am notorious for not having any interest in mysteries but, i genuinely enjoyed this. i wouldn't have ever picked up this book for myself but, my library system was having a book club with this book so of course i wanted to be involved.

i really enjoyed this, more than i thought i would. there are some qualms i have with it but, i was engaged the entire time and was actively interested in the story (especially at the end).

as soon as this finished, i was like ... well what happens next? i NEED the next book lmao. i'm a lil invested in these characters now and need to find out what happens with this murder and if [redacted] truly is responsible :O
