Honestly, I bought this collection just for Julie Lessman's book and the other three authors were delightful icing on the cake. Each story drew me in and the locations were just as vivid as the characters.
A Daddy for Christmas includes an Idaho rancher with British charm and a widow trying to make a new life for herself, child, and other members of a deserted wagon train.
Second Chance Christmas is about a small town girl who set out to make her dreams come true in Hollywood returns home to the surprising news that times are tougher than she realized for her family and her ex-fiancee has plans to buy their ranch.
All Aboard Destination Christmas features a rancher's daughter who is reluctantly traveling to the city with her aunt to learn social graces and find a husband. Everyone's plans are derailed when an avalanche pins them in just before Christmas.
The Best Gift of All dealt with an absolutely critical issue for married couples with children. Lizzie and John's marriage suffers when she struggles to balance the roles of wife and mother. This storyline is full of wisdom and a must read!
Great reads all and I'll be seeking out more titles from the new-to-me authors in the future!

The best man loves weddings, the maid of honor is terrified of them. Exuberant Corbin tries to woo a very reluctant Sarah. She has been hurt by failed relationships in the past and insists he's not her type. He is convinced she's the one he's been waiting for.
All of Riverbend has been so seamlessly intertwined from book to book so although this is clearly about Sarah and Corbin, you also get to catch up with everyone from the first 3 books! This is a wonderful sweet read!

Tish and Tom have been best friends and bandmates for years now but he is also in love with her. Tom is moving away and the Marauders have to replace him but Tish doesn't expect the replacement to be broody Sebastian Jefferies from one of her classes.
I enjoyed all the complex relationships in the story and the important underlying message of encouragement to victims of abuse. Great follow up on Ani and Paulo from book 1 of the series as well! Good read!

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Eight gems here! Encouraging reads are great for the Christmas season or anytime of year.
Mistletoe in Montana: small town girl Brenna returns home after her dreams of stardom are shattered. Her ex-fiancee is poised to buy her ailing father's ranch and she had no idea how bad things have gotten while she's been gone.
A Match Made for Christmas: Mix ups and misunderstandings pile up as Seirra's friends secretly try to set her up with a new man at the same time her long-time friend Corbin decides to make his move into her heart.
Merry Kisses: Sonya struggles to find a healthy balance in her Christmas festivities when she falls for Heath, the mall's part-time Santa Claus.
Unwrapped: Trina misses her old home and traditions and decides to spend Christmas with her best friend and roommate's family instead of traveling to Florida with her parents.
An Informal Christmas: Rylie works as a child life specialist at a local hospital. Zach brings donations in for the kids. They keep butting heads each time their paths cross but there's something going on just below the surface.
Operation Mistletoe: Tori has a bad track record with Christmas so she avoids it whenever possible. Gabe is a former frat boy with a big heart and deep pockets. He's made it his mission to help out a worthy cause and Tori's latest assignment is to cover his light display fundraiser for the newspaper.
A Bond for the Holidays: Must read for Sacred Bond series fans! 18 years ago, Emily was pregnant with John's baby, married Robert, and didn't tell either one of them.
A (kinda) Country Christmas: Sadie lives for her daughter Mari and the Christmas shoppe her parents left to her. Nate travels all over the world for his job and avoids the temptations of his former lifestyle. Sadie and Nate seem like opposites but they have to decide if their relationship could work.

Kids and I adored this book! Great exercise for the imagination.

I started reading this book and couldn't stop! Eyes Unveiled is Emma's coming of age story. She has to figure out how to keep her scholarship, how to get the right internship, and how to avoid any distractions. Emma's friends try to make sure she has a little fun every now and then and there are two guys determined to break her no relationships rule. Eventually she has to stop doing what she thinks is expected of her and determine what it is she's uniquely gifted to do. Encouraging and entertaining story, I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
