This book has become one of my all time favorites. You may have your opinions on the writing, some of it repetitive, yes. But the storytelling? The blooming of their relationships? This throuple lives in my mind and won't leave me alone.

I am glad that a mutual friend reviewed this and recommended it. I now wait for the sequel and indulge in their stories.

The spice? 🌶🌶🌶

I will come back to reading it after I finish the second book because I love them all.

characters:

Sparrow was annoying as hell.
Vash: wish there was more of him.
Perhaps in the second book.
Morbid: He gives me future villain vibes, I don't know. There's definitely more to him than just a sassy king. Maybe ties to the creator?

Speaking of the creator. I hope we get more of everyone's past. How she came to be as well. Though, I do understand that this was their story first, later whatever comes next.

This book gave me the same sunken feeling as the manga called Blackguard. A cold slap of reality. I enjoyed the journey even the ones of the supporting characters.

The way they all connected felt like a domino effect.

The art as always, at a 100%. The beginning wrecked me. And then the ending wrecked me once again. I really enjoyed this volume. Couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. Can't wait for the next.

Before you read it, take the trigger warnings SERIOUSLY. I held my own, but there were moments that I just couldn't. This author has a talent for horror, and I'm in awe. I will be getting the physical copy. Would I read it again? I would. But only because I'll be more mentally prepared. Loved that everything was explored. The ending has me by the neck, though.

(also I've been glued to this book for the past few days, couldn't read anything else.)

Listen this volume brought EVERYTHING to the pot and mixed it all to hell. I felt inspired, betrayed, sad and excited. The art was beautiful and I love that we can see the plays.

Man, I enjoyed this one so much. I kept seeing it these past few months at the stores and I finally gave in. I'm glad I did. Never expected it to be so funny. And the art is very entertaining as well.

The concept is what pulled me in. Gave me Spy x Family vibes. Will be buying the rest of the volumes for sure.

I certainly enjoyed this second volume more than the first!! And then it had to end on a cliffhanger pffft. Can't wait for the third volume to come out. I'm obsessed now lol

I began to enjoy the book until chapter 35?? that's when it began being a hit or miss. The story dragged on and was focused on details that weren't that important. I was annoyed. But I pushed on because I did enjoy the mystery of it all and I had questions. There were routes that the author took that were questionable at the end.
Like making Angel be the one to solve it all with a map falling onto her lap so to speak.
Ending felt rushed and strange. I was glad to had finish it to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, like I said I still enjoyed. I made the speed at 1.5? In order for it to be faster because the third narrator was a bit slow for me.
