Saga, Volume 9 by Brian K. Vaughan
5.0
my review of all of 9 volumes so far:
- overall 4 stars
- i’m attached to all of the characters and i might have teared up a little (only on 2 parts, i was strong !)
- this wasn’t heavily sci fi, which is a genre i don’t really like to read, so i appreciate that i could follow the world building at ease
- love the art
• my favorite ones: 2, 3, 7 and 9
• my least favorites: 4, 5 and 8
i’m very excited for the rest of this saga and will definitely continue to read the last 9 volumes (i think) brian and fiona plan to create!

found this on tapas when i was looking for another story and i just... what is this? it’s kinda funny and i like the art but it seems like andy weir only watched the movies (or maybe just the trailers) because this is so?¿

A Dash of Trouble by Anna Meriano
3.0
this was so cute and fun! i honestly really liked the story and the characters (there’s one with my name!!!!!!) and this is a 3-stars book that i would give 4 stars if i was in the mood for this kind of book :)
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
4.0
WHAT
i gave it 4 stars but i’m actually not sure if this was a 4 or 5 stars, it’s too much for me to handle!!!
a bit of context: gone girl is one of my favorite movies ever and i know all the lines. by that you would think that i’d enjoy this book, sure, but it wouldn’t have that *feeling* when you read a thriller, you know? WRONG!
holy fucking shit gillian flynn really knows what she is doing wow! i honestly thought i’d like it because her writing is just impeccable but no, she did more than that. she managed to surprise and keep me insanely interested in the story and (mostly) amy’s thoughts even though i knew everything that was about to happen.
this book was incredible and it made me even more excited that i was before to read sharp objects
fuck.
