I had high hopes for this one. I did enjoyed a couple of the stories in this collection. But overall was disappointed. I found it repetitive and uninteresting at times.

The Vegetarian by Han Kang

I really enjoyed this book. I read it last year. Its a three part story that takes place in S.Korea. Its the story of a woman who decides to stop eating meat because of a vicious bloody bad dream she has. Then the fallout of her chose and how it effected her life and thoes in her. I loved this authors writing style.
I could relate to parts of this story because I am a vegetarian and have been more than half my life. And how my choice to be vegetarian effects others in my life. Although this story is much more extreme and sad than mine.
