The Pledge by Cale Dietrich
4.0
I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good thrilled story.
My only real critique is that the ending was kind of rushed and still left some questions to be answered, but I know they aren't super important to the overall story but the journey to the end was still fun and enjoyable.
Possible sequel?

The Toll by Neal Shusterman

A really great ending to the story. Kept me intrigued right up until the end. The beginning was a little slow in terms of pacing but it was worth the wait and once the story picked up, it took off running. Really excited that I read through this series!
Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman

The book really brought things to a new level in this world. The ending was so worth the wait and all the build up was amazing. Let's just say that water becomes the color of cherry kool-aid in the end.
Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

If you're looking for the movie this isn't it, but it's just as much fun. It was nice to not be reading the same thing as the movie but still enjoying it just as much.
Reverie by Ryan La Sala

I was really surprised by this but I loved how it all unfolded. The villain is absolutely fabulous and all the characters are really enjoyable. Ryan really created and stitched together a wonderful story.

What an absolutely amazing book! Very different from Reverie but in an effortless way. This book explores gender fluidity, what it means to feel different and accepted. A must read!
Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune

This was my first introduction to Klune and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of the Good Place and I loved it. All the characters were unique and interesting and the journey was fun and meaningful. I highly recommend this book if you're looking for something heart warming and introspective.
Goodnight Punpun, Vol. 2 by Inio Asano

This volume took a much darker turn now that Punpun is getting older. This volume does focus a good amount on his uncle Yuichi and his life and what comes with getting older. A good continuation of the series.
Raising Hell by Daryl Banner

I enjoyed this book and am a bit fan of Daryls for a while. This book felt a little off though. I love the whole narrative and characters were great, it was just missing something. This story focuses more on one POV instead of two, so I felt like we were missing something.
Matthew's development was great but Charlie's felt a bit flat. Loved everything else though.

Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie

I thought this was a very good mystery. Plenty of characters and a good amount of twists and turns to keep me guessing.
