Lore Olympus: Volume One by Rachel Smythe

This has been sitting on my shelf for so long but finally reading it with a nudge from a friend.
I really enjoyed the story and the art style is beautiful. It does jump around at parts but once you get used to it, it's very easy. It's originally a webcomic and they tend to do that more than normal comics but definitely a great read and good start to the series.

I really wanted to like this book but it was a struggle. This book couldn't decide what it wanted to be. It was strange things, mixed with it, mixed with I know what you did last summer.... it was too much ask wrapped up in one.
Not one of my favorites.

A nice continuation of the story. I feel bad for Persephone and Hades because they are both conflicted and everybody is just messing with them at every turn. Everybody is such a busy body or manipulator. It's still a great story though and I'm rooting for Persephone and Hades.

This was a great book of poetry randomly recommended to it. I resonated a lot with a good amount of the poems. It's not just about coming into yourself as a gay person, but just a person in general and it was definitely worth the read.
I've read this book twice now and it resonated even stronger the second time.

Really loving the direction this story is going into. I love the relationship developing on both sides and love the hint that the fates gave off in the end. I also love seeing how all the characters interact.

The story is becoming so much clearer and the outline is developing in such a great way and persephone is really coming into herself

This was my first book in the Discworld series and I enjoyed it very much. It was a little slow in the middle but it was a very interesting read none the less. This is the first book in the witches series and most will say go right to Wyrd Sisters but this was a very good introduction in my opinion.
I really enjoyed the relationship between Esk and Granny Weatherwax and the two different ideas of magic and what magic really is was interesting. Definitely a good read.

I found this book much quicker in terms of pacing that Howl's Moving Castle and the story was very engaging. It was nice to see familiar characters again but exploring a completely different part of the country from which Howl and Sophie come from. Would recommend if you enjoyed the first book.
Note: Do not read if you only watched the movie as there are things that are very different from the movie.

Loved this book. I love that it's like a sequel to the first but not so much. I thought the ending was really cute and I love that the story played out over a longer period of time. Really great! Onto book #3
Milo and Marcos at the End of the World by Kevin Christopher Snipes

This book was a very interesting read. It really did an awesome job of touching how conflicted a person can feel when it comes to religion, their own feelings and how it's not always an easy decision to decide how and when it be exactly who you want to be and live your life.
I love the way the story was told, the characters were all likeable and the Golden Girls references were a huge plus. Definitely became a favorite of mine very quickly and easily. I can't wait to see what Snipes writes next.
