Well I can’t believe that was the last one 🥲
It wasn’t the fluffy Christmas story I was expecting but I was hooked.

Fantastic.
This book gave a little more game of thrones vibes but mostly in the multiple povs and battles in multiple places at once.
This duology will absolutely be one that I revisit. 🥹🖤💀

Someone please tell me how I forgot the last half of this book after the first read 😅

That ending though. Honestly rude. But also probably will be explained away in the next one if I had to bet.

Man I haven’t cried like that in a long time.
I’m obsessed with this series and will be taking zero criticisms ever.
The ending absolutely gutted me but it felt so right. 😭

I’m sorry but not into it.
Insta love
Alphahole brother who needed therapy and communication lessons
Brothers best friend
Extreme golden retriever behavior
Insta love (like weeks from reconnecting to engaged)
Surprise pregnancy
Toxic masculinity
Covid mentions

Also listened to this as an ALC and there were several places where it was obvious some of the female narrators clips had to be re-recorded and stitched in, the background sound was different and the voice sounded out of place. It threw me out of the story each time it happened.
Unfortunately, it’s a no from me dawg.

Lots of triggers.
Lots of messy Jaegar boys and a lot of jumping to new scenes and excessive miscommunication/noncommunicationbut it starts to make sense at the end (but also not) because I still can’t understand not communicating with your SO. 🙈

No notes. No words. Smooth brain Sam rn.

It's 5 stars. I don't know what else you want from me right now.
I laughed. I cried.
I got a little hot and bothered.
I got my Twilight fix.
I saw and felt seen by so many things in this book.
I might be friends with this author, but I'm still forever impressed with her work and will always say if something is lacking.
This one did. Not. Lack.
