Vampires of El Norte by Isabel Cañas

3.5 stars! I enjoyed this book, the love story and horror vibes were awesome and it’s the perfect read for fall. However I found this moved slow for me. I think it was a me problem because it was an amazing book just not the type of fiction I run through and didn’t give me that 5 star feeling I was looking for.

4.5 stars I absolutely loved this book but took off half a star because she killed off the main poc character. Just hate when this happens. Still going to continue the series but hoping for more diversity in the next book. I may just be projecting because this was one of my biggest issues with throne of glass in crown of midnight.
