Ryan Rule by Sadie Kincaid

This whole Ryan series is amazing!!!! I loved all of the books! It’s a RH and no favoritism or choosing at all! Jesse has a different connection to each of the men (four) and each of the MMC have very different personalities but as a group of five it is the perfect mix and chemistry! There are times she is with one of them and times she’s with multiple or all at once - my favorite is that because each of the men are different that you get to experience so much within the series because they all act slightly different with her. Definitely a series I’d recommend to any dark romance / RH lovers !

Pretty much same story as the first book… MFC makes deal with MMC to save a family member (exact same deal as first book just trying to avoid spoilers saying it here). The chemistry between the two was fine and I liked their banter and then their connection once they admitted feelings (lust basically lol). But other than that, just was eh. I’m all for mafia drama with smut and I know the plot lines are usually very similar but it really just felt like I was reading first book with different names…

i loved the relationship between the fmc and mmc and how interested they both were into each other right from the beginning. the back story of keller’s involvement in the mob didn’t make much sense i thought because why did he need to win the boxing match before brother was okay with him not being enforcer anymore? but that was such a small plot point it didn’t really take me out of the story too much.

Perfect quick read instalove novella !!! I loved this book! Was happy to see Grant dealing with the consequences of his reaction to his sister and best friend in last book. He’s grumpy and lonely because he reacted badly to his sister and best friend getting together behind his back but also more angry at himself than anything for prioritizing work too much that he didn’t see what his sister was dealing with and the true feelings of his best friend.
But enter 19yo sassy little spitfire, Lily, and he quickly (like not even 24 hours!!!

I don’t know how to review this one because I have it 4⭐️ even though I was annoyed with Luca (MMC) for the majority of the book lol. I just think if he would have chosen to look at his new wife for like a millisecond without his preconceived notions about her, he would have realized just how wrong he was thinking she was a little spoiled mafia brat. He even throws out all her clothes because he thinks they’re rags and comments how it’s weird she doesn’t like shopping but he still thinks she was raised spoiled?
As for Verona - I really liked her and actually wish we would have gotten a bit more of Luca spoiling her and apologizing for his actions once he learned how wrong he was.
The “twist” was kinda of a shock to me but not fully. I saw it coming but didn’t want to because I didn’t want Verona hurt more:(
Also yes - 100% Romeo and Juliet modern mafia retelling if you hadn’t figured that out by FMCs name lol.
**Mafia romance
**Romeo and Juliet style but with angry Romeo
**Sweet and neglected FMC
