Wow...
I just wanted to get out of a reading slump with an erotica novel which will not need any thinking at all, but instead I got consumed by the world of M. Never and obsessed for these books.
I mean I just finished the first book and started the second one because I couldn't believe the plot twist! Now I'm 50% into the second one and I'm scared!
If you like dark (a little bit fucked up) romances, this is certainly your cup of tea!

Gifting Me To His Best Friend by Katee Robert

A hot read for the holidays!
I found Katee Robert's books a few months ago and I can't get enough. The way she writes, the pure emotion she gives us has me wanting for more.
This book was so quick I didn't even realized it ended and then I felt empty. It was a little bit cringe when the protagonists were acting their fantasies, but when it changed to the main plot THE EMOTION WAS KILLING ME.
If you are unsure about reading this book this is your sign to do it!

Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight

This book was the "hardcore" reading of November for the BDSM (Bookworms doing serious marathons) book club I'm in.
Den of Vipers was the most f*cked up book i have ever read and i'm sure if you think of a trigger it will have it, but oh boy i enjoyed it a lot. First of all, it is reverse harem which i adore! Secondly, it's not for everyone. To be exact, if you can't stomach most of the bdsm triggers, please don't read it.
Plotwise, it was okay. You have a basic plot of mafia men who kidnap a girl and she fell in love with them, well a twisted kind of love. There isn't much there to explore. Some will say there is no plot, but it's there, oh boy it is there and it had me crying my eyes out. Yes yes i never believed i would be crying over a dark romance smutty smut. The writing was good. The sex was good and didn't get boring or predictable. I felt so many things *wink wink*
Characterwise, you had a variety of antihero to choose and love. Our little game in the book club was to find the man we would choose, if there was a choice. I found myself struggling to choose a favorite because let's face it we are all a Roxy and we want our Harem. But in the end the one who caught my attention was my soft broken boy Garrett (i have a thing with Garretts after reading The Deal by Elle Kennedy.. I hate to love them) and i need him to tattoo me right now. Ofcourse, you could see that the author wanted to put too many ideas in five people and in the end it was just noise. I would love for the characters to be more define, but in the end i still loved every single of them. Still i believe that Roxy is a Queen and i aspire to be like her (well... you know what i mean.. not the "killing everyone and licking my knife" but the... erm... well.... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN..)
Overall, it's not an easy book. The mafia trope lover inside me was excited. You must be careful getting into it. That's all. Now i have to go and meet my good-looking mafia bosses-family to kidnap me for a debt and fall in love with me and make me a Queen... i cry

Games We Play by Dana Isaly

Well well well...
It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. It was like the author had a very good idea of a fanfiction in their head but when they started writing they lost it at some point.
Was it good? It was a pretty good dom-sub fantasy . I loved the sexual tension, but i felt like everything was going too fast for my likings. The plot was okay, i just needed something more. More interaction, more dirty talking... something to set the mood. I thought the writing was pretty good and the sexual scenes was *chef's kiss*
BUT.... that guy was a red flag walking. A girl comes to interview him and he was just thinking all the ways he could fuck her? And in the span of few hours he was so obsessed with her that he decided she would be his no matter what? Like come on dude, i know it supposed to be a one-shot, but you can do better than that. Then he took her to meet his friends and suddently he isn't just a streamer but he also is a wealthy man with lots of clubs... His friends are also red flags walking.
All in all, was okay but i wouldn't choose it as a reread. I would, though, recommend it because it was the first time i saw the "dog" trope and it was a good introduction!

The Deal by Elle Kennedy

Garrett is a bae and this is how I fell in love with Elle Kennedy!
The writing was so good that it made me swallow many chapters at a time when until now I was struggling with other books.
The way Elle Kennedy writes boys is how all girls fantasizing them. And omg Garrett was a book boyfriend from the very start.
And oh boy at 90% it got me screaming to my phone because OF A LOT OF SPOILERS I CAN'T TELL.
All in all, I loved it as a book. I disliked the cheesiness at some parts and how we don't really get to see Hannah and her friends a lot, like their relationship and etc. Plotwise it was a classic good hot romance book.
I really want to read all the series and I hope to read more of Logan because damn boiiii he is fine as hell!
