- bully romance

My start into the Rina Kent universe was a rollercoaster from start to finish and I cannot wait to see where the rest of this goes.

Everything about this book took drama up to the max. Levi and Astrid go to a private high school where it seems everyone has some sort of insane secret. Even their relationship is dramatic to the max with the way they are told to stay away from each other as some sort of rival families. Levi is absolutely unhinged in everything he does, including his relationship with Astrid. From the start, Levi is hostile and combative with Astrid not wanting anything to do with him beyond a physical attraction. But nothing can stop him from pursuing.

Somehow, this series has gotten its hooks into me and I’m certain that I will keep going until I’m caught up with the entire book universe. Was it masterpiece writing? Not really. Was it cliche and dramatic as all hell? Absolutely. Did I love nearly every second of it? Yes, yes I did.

Cruel King is currently available on Kindle Unlimited ✨

Tame the Heart is book 1 in the Runaway Ranch series and boy did this series kick off with a bang. This is my first book by Ava Hunter and I will certainly be coming back for more!

Charlie and Ruby were an adorable couple from the start. I mean, who doesn’t love being saved from an all out bar fight?? Their entire dynamic is the epitome of grumpy/sunshine and I was beyond here for it!! In fact, Charlie’s whole grumpy cowboy thing had me hooked and now I just want to devour everything that has to do with the Montgomery brothers so keep these books coming.

This book gave off a lot of Yellowstone vibes with the ranching and the small town but not super small way of dealing with things and big corporate drama. which, as a fan of the show, I was in fact here for.

The only thing that I found really distracting throughout the story was Ruby’s insistence on hiding her condition from Charlie or from anyone really. That made me a little resentful towards Ruby, even when I didn’t want to be. But even that didn’t dampen my love for their relationship and to a point, I got it. It was super personal!

Still, if you’re looking for a grumpy cowboy just trying to protect his ranch and giving off those aggressive Rip from Yellowstone vibes, Charlie Montgomery might just be your next book boyfriend ❤️

Going into this, I knew there was going to be angst. Over and over, that’s what I saw that this was Morgan’s angst book and there would be feels. But did I listen? No. And now, I will be sending Morgan my therapy bill kthnx.

I feel like All My Love was a different vibe than some of Morgan’s other pull at your heartstrings books and I was living for it. It pulled me out of a reading slump and I was ready to fight the world so that Riggs and Stella could be together. The chemistry between them was unmatched and I just wanted them to be happy more than anything. Also, there was a “I’m her husband” moment for Riggs that just made me love him 1000x more. I don’t make the rules, that’s just how life goes.

There weren’t too many issues that I had with the story. If I had to identify them, I would say that there were moments where things were too on the nose and Stella’s mom. Having Stella be the one to write Girl Crush about a girl that was rumored to be dating Riggs and then the events of Dial Drunk happen to Riggs felt a bit too feeding into the songs. As far as Stella’s mom, she kind of went straight up cheesy villain towards the end there. It felt like her being an issue and cause of their big split was thrown in as a way where the incident happened, but neither of them actually did it or intentionally did it.

Still, if you want a second chance romance filled with plenty of longing and history between the two mains, All My Love may just be for you 💜 thank you Morgan Elizabeth for continuing to allow me to be on your ARC team and for letting me enjoy this book!
