The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

I would of rated this higher but found the chapters of Allan's past so boring and painful to read. The ending was done too quick, if there was less chapters on his past and more on the ending then this easily would of been 4/5.

I am so glad this book matches the hype. Fredrik Backman's writing style is great and I'm very impressed. I do struggle when there is a heavy load of characters and Bear Town is full of them BUT he touches in with them often enough to help remind you who's who. I loved Amat's character and Maya is so strong. The ending could of been more brutal but just shows Maya's strength after it all. Now I can't wait to start the next 'Us against you'.

This book got me into reading! I read it as a young girl and have reread it a few times over the years. I am so attached to the characters, it really is a comfort read for me. Its so emotional, educational and written beautifully throughout. I will always regard this as one of my all times favourite books.

I struggled with the writing style but I did enjoy the plot. I loved Midori’s character so once she came into the story I couldn’t put the book down. I wouldn’t read it again but would try other reads by Haruki.

This story is absolutely heartbreaking. I often think of Ben’s mum Kerry and just wish she had answers.

This book is focused on trauma and upsetting topics but it is one of the best books I have ever read. It’s heartbreaking but absolutely exquisite.

Heartbreaking to read and absolutely unimaginable the pain, mentally and physically, that Michelle faced during this ordeal.

Very harrowing read which covers every detail needed on both Myra and Ian and the awful events that followed once they met.

In my opinion, this is by far the best book by Martina Cole. I was hooked right from the beginning. The character development is great and easy to follow and the plot is amazing. One of the few books I have lost count of rereading.
