✨ Review ✨

I have mixed feelings about this series. I really liked the concept of the unjust system with how the color of your blood - silver or red - determines your place in society, but the characters annoyed me so much. For me, their personalities worsened with each book. I don’t like love triangles, but that doesn’t deter me from reading and liking a book, but did not like how this was plotted out. I still have this book 4 stars because I was hopeful with this series and had heard great things, but it just wasn’t for me. Of course these are my opinions, everyone has the right to their own opinion and I respect differing opinions.

✨ Review ✨

Thank you so much Kaymie Wuerfel for this ARC!!

I found this book through a reel by the author and I have never requested an ARC so fast. I read the previous books in this series, Last Letters to Ara and Last Stand for Genevieve, as soon as possible and could not wait to receive my ARC. My expectations were not let down and I think I’d have to say this was my favorite of the series. The connection that Ryder and Evie has is so special, and (I know I’ve said this for every review in this series, but it’s true) I love how this series explores and handles so many realistic situations and truly makes you feel like you are experiencing everything that the characters are experiencing. Plus, the found family is adorable!! The Last series is so beautifully written and I can’t wait for everyone to be able to read this!

This series is a standalone series, meaning you could read this book without reading LLtA and LSfG, but I highly recommend reading everything so you can understand the entire story and what everyone has been through (and you get to enjoy all of the cameos)!! I can’t wait to read more from you Kaymie Wuerfel 🩷

I loved this book! The details were amazing and everything felt so real. I wasn’t just reading the book, but I was in this world experiencing what the characters were experiencing. I love that this covered real struggles and handled them realistically. And the found family is so sweet!!

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you so much Jasmine Little for this ARC!!

If you loved The Fault in Our Stars, you’ll love LPIO! It was so sad, but so good. I got teary eyed on Chapter 4, and we won’t even talk about the ending. Just like TFiOS and Allegiant, the ending never happened, the main characters got to live happily ever after together, and us readers will continue to be delulu.

But seriously, this book was amazing, 100% recommend!! Even if you don’t like sad endings, I suggest giving this a try. Can’t wait for your next book Jasmine Little 🩵

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you so much NetGalley for this ARC!!

Let me just start by saying that I love Love LOVE this book!!

This was a super cute rom-com with forced proximity and found family, and I absolutely love that it included foster families and adoption (as an adoptee myself)!! Everything about this book is amazing - from the characters, to the plot, to the dialogue and inner thoughts - *chef’s kiss*

There were so many funny and sweet moments that I really want to share, but I can’t, so go read it and find out for yourself! Thank you Mary Lee Painter for writing this masterpiece ❤️ I can’t wait to read your next book!!

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you so much SimonTeen for this NetGalley ARC!!

NLTM is the sequel to Better Than the Movies and it is AMAZING!!! I was so excited when I saw that my ARC request was accepted!

This is a second chance rom-com with banter, dual POV, pining, forced proximity, and fake dating. Plus, we get cameos from Emilie & Nick (The Do-Over) and Bailey & Charlie (Betting On You)!!

Little summary breakdown:
- Liz and Wes are in college now, and they have both matured and grown A LOT in the past 2 YEARS
- Little Liz is gone
- Wes is a simp
- Learn some baseball terminology
- Prepare to have your heart break for Wes
- Cry

This book put me on a rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every second of it. If you loved BTTM, read this. If you’ve read anything by Lynn Painter, love YA books, love romance books, and/or if you’re like me and hate straight up romance movies, but decide to try out a romance book just to see how the genre in the book world is, READ BOTH BTTM and NLTM. BTTM was my first romance book and I fell down the rabbit hole.

Thank you Lynn Painter for continuing Wes and Liz’s story ❤️ I can’t wait to read your next YA novel

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you so much Blink YA Books for this NetGalley ARC!!

I loved In 27 Days by Alison Gervais, so I knew I had to request this ARC as soon as I saw it. This was a very fun YA mystery for lovers of detective stories like Sherlock Holmes.

I did not expect that dark plot twist at all! Of course, I knew a classmate would go missing based on the synopsis, but the turn it took was amazing and enthralling. Sherlock and Watson definitely make an interesting dynamic duo.

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you so much Penguin Teen for my first ever NetGalley ARC!!

Heist Royale was a very thrilling adventure. It took Thieves’ Gambit, the first book, to the next level. I especially thought the second heist was the most intricate and well played, even though it had a surprising twist at the end.

I love the character development that Ross went through! The friendships she made were the best. She finally got to experience the world that she had been missing and yearning for from the island.

By the end, the big question that had me wondering throughout the book was finally answered, and definitely not what I thought it was. I knew it had to have had something to do with Ross since she’s the main character, but I thought it was going to go a different route. I’m glad it concluded with a happier ending than what my overthinking brain believed it would be. This was a very fun read and I can’t wait to see what Kayvion Lewis has planned for her next book!!

That ending. Wow, what a betrayal. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’m just going to say that this was a really good YA mystery/thriller. It’s promoted as “The Inheritance Games meets Ocean’s Eleven” and I could not agree more.
