I seem to love books that involve time loops. I think it would be scary to be stuck and not know if you’ll ever escape, but it would be fun to be able to do whatever you want with no consequences for a few days.

I loved getting Neil’s POV!! I’m so glad that we got to learn more about his home life and that he was able to find closure. It was also fun to read how Rowan and Neil handled a long distance relationship (I was worried for a bit) and their journey exploring college and the east coast city life.

This hit me close academically, especially since I read it a few weeks after graduation. I relate with Rowan getting salutatorian and the feeling of knowing you were so close to being valedictorian. Like what’s even the point of placing someone as “second best”? Now that I’m done with it all, it feels ridiculous to have spent all of that time trying to get 100s, just to start over in college a few months later where nobody knows or cares about those scores and I’ve gotta do it all over again.

Anyways, I’m sorry, I can really rant about school. My point relating with the book is that you need to always try your best, but also live your life. You need to think about what’s going to matter the most in your life and what you want to be able to look back on. Rowan and Neil went through a lot of self-discovery in their 24 hrs together, and maybe you will too when you read this.

This was a good contemporary read for middle schoolers. It follows topics of mental heath awareness including anxiety, panic attacks, and anger issues. I also did not expect there to be a mystery at the end. It was very surprising and makes me wonder how that was possible. It will definitely make for an interesting plot in book 2.

I loved getting Edward’s POV and reading everyone’s thoughts!! I wish Stephenie Meyer would write the rest of the series through Edward’s POV as well. It was interesting to see how much he truly saw himself as a monster and it was surprising to see how he thought of so many ways to kill Bella in such detailed ways and how short his plans had actually lasted, even his thoughts are faster.

I love how much he hated Mike Newton. I read this as an ebook and took so many screenshots of how many times he thought of murdering the poor guy.

It was also really fun to see Alice’s vision play out before it happened. That’s how I thought Breaking Dawn would have been like in the movie, it would have been cool to see this in the movie too.

This was my favorite of the entire series!! I also did not expect that ending, I thought it would just end kind of open ended like Twilight, even though there were no plans to continue the series. I loved the ending though, and even though Beau and Edythe are technically Bella and Edward, I like Beau and Edythe more. I don’t think that little scene with Jules was necessary, but at least there was no love triangle : )

The ending surprised me a bit because I did watch the movies long before reading the books and I thought that maybe this part would be in Edward’s POV. It makes sense because this was from Bella’s POV and she can’t read minds, but it was still an interesting ending.

One thing I don’t like is how we’re made to hate Rosalie. I agree that she would be unnecessarily cruel and she was selfish and vain, but she did care about her family. She was thankful that Bella saved Edward in New Moon, and the two had that talk in Eclipse that I felt bonded them a little. Edward did see that her thoughts were only about the baby, not Bella, but I still feel like she wasn’t as terrible as she was made out to be.

Also, Renesmee? She couldn’t have gone with Carlie? Or go the first and middle name route, Renee Esme/Esme Renee? Whatever, I still loved the story and wish there were more vampire/werewolf books.

I liked getting to read part of Eclipse from an outsider’s perspective and as a newborn. I am sad about Diego and I really want to know what happened to Fred. Did he make it? Would he become a “vegetarian”? I want a short story on him.

Jacob gets on my nerves. I know I’m indecisive, but Bella needs to stop going back and forth.

I hate love triangles. I read books with them, but I always know who I like and who I want to go away. Jacob needs to go away. He’s a good friend, but he does not need to be Bella’s boyfriend.

And Edward, bro, you’re so stupid. You who knows that Alice’s visions aren’t always accurate and can change the second someone changes their mind, decide to go and do what you did.
