I had found this book because of a reel and I’m so glad I read it. I felt that it gave a very realistic outlook on the ongoing themes throughout the book.

This was tied as my favorite book of the year. I related with Clementine so much (obviously not the time travel part - I wish).
This book, as weird as it may sound, was the last push I needed to switch my major. I was planning on going into Genetics, getting a PhD, and doing lab research, but I was never 100% set on it. The thing is, I was only interested in the genetics aspect, I hate everything else about biology and chemistry. I just wasn’t really interested in anything else and I hated the idea of having to switch majors after I already started because that just feels like a huge waste of money. I had taken a Criminology and a Forensic Science class during sophomore year and loved them, but my mom talked me out of pursuing that as a career because she said it was too morbid and didn’t make as much money.
I don’t want to hate my job for the rest of my life or be bored in it. This book helped me realize I need to do what I want to do. I switched to Criminal Justice, and I’m so happy I did. I don’t start until August, but I think I’ll be really happy with this choice. I’ve also been considering a double major in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, though I’ll wait until my classes to see if that would actually be important to my career at all. I took a Psych class through dual enrollment that I found interesting, but I’ve heard that you can’t really do much with a Psych degree, so we’ll see?

This was good, but I didn’t like the age gap. At the time, I was planning to major in genetics and get a PhD, but this and the bio class I was in helped me realize that I don’t like lab work. Besides my personal feelings about the subject, the book had a good plot.

I love this entire book. I love the writing style. I love the plot. I love Iris and Roman. I’m happy a certain character didn’t make it, I felt that that person deserved it.

The Letters of Enchantment duology is (interchangeably because I’m indecisive) my favorite of the year. Rebecca Ross has such a beautiful writing style that really pulls you into this magical historical fantasy world.
P.S. It will also make you really want a typewriter.

This was my favorite of the Lynn Painter books that I have read and it is so underrated! Emilie and Nick are one of my favorite couples ever. I know most people favor Liz and Wes from BTTM, which don’t get me wrong, I love them too, but I think it’s because I can relate better to Emilie with just wanting to let go. I wouldn’t mind being in a time loop for one day just to get to have a DONC.
