A matchmaker has a deadly past she can’t escape from.

What a ride!

This book, by a long shot, was the most intriguing, compelling, unique, satisfying… I could go on and on but to sum it up it’s the best book I’ve read all year!

There wasn’t a moment where I wasn’t completely hooked into the story. It felt so unique and was an intoxicating blend of genres. There were touches of horror, mystery, psychological thriller, and dark stalker romance.

The story was expertly layered and nuanced. There were so many moments where I thought I had it all figured out but turned out not quite.

And the ending! A slow burn, perfectly paced ending! There was a point where I thought ok here it comes the onslaught of tying up loose ends BUT IT NEVER CAME! The story unfurled naturally and things played out in such a satisfying way.

There’s so much I want to say about this book but I don’t want to give anything away so read it and come talk to me about it!

Filled with personal growth and self discovery.

A young woman with a high sex drive tries to find a compatible partner.

This book was very relatable.

I appreciated how this story was lead by a strong FMC committed to achieving her goals.

She wove her way through relationships overtime trying to discover something more authentic.

I definitely recommend giving it a read!

I loved this one!

πŸ‘’ After tragedy strikes, a young woman question’s what she thought she knew about herself. πŸ‘’

I really loved how this story flowed and the pacing was perfect. Alternating between the past and the present worked really well with this story.

I really empathized with Layla and loved her character growth. She really came into her own and I was all for it.

Well’s is prime book boyfriend material. I loved him from the very beginning. I appreciated how soft he was with Layla and patient over the years. The hat scene made me soooo happy! πŸ˜‚

Their relationship broke my heart at times but was overall so engrossing. And that ending!!! I want more!! I can’t wait till the next book is released!

Great chemistry and plenty of steam!

πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ A single dad, Bennett, falls for a struggling surgeon named Justine. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I enjoyed the chemistry between Bennett and Justine. His daughters were also precious. I really liked the extended family aspect, having all the brothers working as one unit was nice to see.

Ultimately though this story was a bit boring for me. There wasn’t much of a storyline to keep me hooked. There were definitely moments that had my interest but they weren’t consistent.

Furthermore, the grief and anxiety being struggled with mixed with the miscommunication trope was frustrating at times.

Everyone experiences books differently so I recommend you give this one a try especially if the single dad trope is your thing!!

This book made me smile so much it’s ridiculous!

🌲 A single dad reluctantly falls for his daughter’s nanny. 🌲

I absolutely loved Berg! I loved his sense of humor, his dad bod, and how he was just so used to doing everything on his own. He was super relatable.

Carolina was also lovable. I loved her for her flaws and the newfound strength she found within herself while nannying.

Age gap is one of my favorite tropes and this one was executed brilliantly.

The chemistry between the two was off the charts and playful.

The steamy scenes weren’t heavy handed. They were completely hot! πŸ₯΅

The ending was perfection and left me feeling satisfied.

This was a really cute love story with major Miss Congeniality vibes!!

πŸ‘‘ Easygoing Ava has just won the Miss Americana pageant and must now spend three months touring the country with her no nonsense yet easy on the eyes bodyguard, Jamie. πŸ‘‘

If you liked the movie Miss Congeniality and wished it had more romance and spice then this book is perfect for you!

I loved everything about this book but mostly I loved how balanced it was. There was just enough of every scene to hold my interest, tell the story and keep things flowing.

The pacing was perfection! Not too fast yet not too slow. It was right in my comfort zone.

I loved Ava and Jamie and their grumpy/sunshine dynamic. I could feel how Ava was slowly loosening Jamie up while Jamie was slowly helping Ava find some balance in life.

The spicy scenes were πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅!! Nothing felt repetitive or cringy.

This book just made me feel happy and completely drawn into their world. I could feel myself smiling as I read.

There was also a bit of suspense and mystery as well that was unexpected.

A quick, spicy glimpse into a love story.

🎀 Pop star Effie records an album with ex grunge rockstar turned producer Brett rehashing their shared history along the way. 🎀

I was surprised that this was a novella to be honest. There’s so much amazing material to work with here, I wanted sooo much more from this one!

The story takes off at a quick pace and doesn’t let off the gas the entire way. I would have loved to have lingered in some spots but that’s just me being greedy.

I loved the chemistry between the characters and the spicy scenes were well done.

I could feel the longing between the characters and the scenes from their past really pulled me in.

I really liked the ending and felt like everything was wrapped up nicely and came full circle.

Forget book boyfriends, I have a new book girlfriend and her name is Lana!

πŸ”₯ A half breed human named Lana is kidnapped and sent to purgatory where she meets an archdemon called Ashtaroth. πŸ”₯

After reading The Gates of Hell, The Rivers of Hell series prequel, I was really excited to see where the series was going and let me tell you I was not disappointed!

Liana’s writing style is so well crafted it seems effortless. The pacing is perfection. Her world building is so seamless; I never felt lost or confused.

There’s a lot of action in this one which I loved! Lana is such a badass!! She held her own throughout the story while still showing vulnerability.

Ash was just πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅ my gahd! He had me squirming in my seat and my heart melting all at once.

Ultimately, the story left off on a good note while also laying the groundwork for future installments which is my preferred type of ending.

This story was a speeding bullet to the heart in the best way possible!

🏈 Grace and Tanner spend a steamy summer together before splitting up and reuniting five years later. 🏈

I was surprised by how fast this story kicked into gear. Definitely an insta lust situation after so many years of avoiding the forbidden.

The steamy scenes between Grace and Tanner were expertly crafted. I was feeling all the feelings. πŸ₯΅

I really loved being able to be with the characters as they fell in love and then having it ripped away. It was all very visceral.

The second chance groveling was oh so sweet and definitely required.

This is a perfect little bite size morsel of romantasy that leaves you craving more!

πŸͺ½ Nephithar, Satans son and general, falls for an alluring angel called Syrin during the war between Heaven and Hell. πŸͺ½

This story really takes off running! I was so pleasantly surprised by the quick pace but more importantly the world building that didn’t miss a beat.

I loved Neph’s character. Right from the start we see his weakness which was an interesting contrast to just seeing hardness especially in the son of Satan and his general to boot.

He totally falls first making my heart swell and is obsessive about his pursuit. His longing and need were palpable.

The spice slowly felt more intense with the perfect build up.

Syrin is on the receiving end of a lot of energy but she holds her own and then some.

I’m very curious to see if we’ll see these two again further in the series so I plan on continuing to read to find out!
