The back and forth here alongside my favorite trope of secret baby had me hooked from the beginning! The way Ledger tried to fight his feelings constantly, like my man please give it up. And the way Carrie was always willing to speak her mind and stick up for her self had me rooting for her the whole time!

Whew I love a good stalker romance and the forbidden aspect on top made this burn! The two of them together was good to read.

this was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it! I loved Ebony and the way she was passionate about what she wanted to do and the fact that Tristan didn't try and stop her from completing those goals.

I'm glad I gave this a reread because last year I DNF'd around chapter 25 but I held on this time and I'm super glad I did. Violet got a lot better and holy hell this was a wild ride! I liked the introduction of the new characters! I seriously can't wait to see what Onyx Storm holds. 



Jack fucking Barlow. I really hope he dies in book three and stays dead. 

And the Golden one's revelations had my jaw on the floor. I definitely didn't see that coming.

OMFG I absolutely devoured this book within 24 hrs!!! This was my first book by this author but it definitely won't be my last one because I love her writing style. The narrators here did a great job with this audio! The story behind the heartbreak here was so sad. Also Logan's dirty mouth 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Hot diggity damn! I'm so sad I've let this sit on my tbr for months because I was definitely missing out! This did leave me with some unanswered questions that I'm hoping means there is a book two coming.
