I always write long review or I try to, so that I could explain for whoever wants to read it why but I find myself speechless at the moment.
This story is pure chaos, comedy, yearning and soft love.
And that's all you actually need because I was laughing and simping during all the book.

Goal Lines & First Times by Eden Finley, Saxon James

Yeah...no.
The First part was cute, I loved the dynamic and the texting but the sex as soon as they know who the other is? Not my cup of tea.
For a romance about asexuality and exploring yourself, that's wayyy too many smut and as a demi person I do know feel comfortable with this representation.

Pretty nice and funny. I loved the dynamic and how they never really changed their personality, even when going mushy on each other.

Idc if the rating is high, this book was it.
In the romance department, it's def one of the best written and the relationship works so so so well.
See? Don't need a third act break up to create some good angst and tension, even in a funny and soft story.

Easy going, funny and cute.
I loved the banter and the characters.
I know, I know, they're all very similar but who cares? I'm just enjoying the ride at this point.
Plus, no real angst so yay.

You know what? Hell yes.
It was a bit slow and cheesy and plotless but I loved it. They're cute, they're funny and I had fun while reading.
Sometimes you don't need complex things, you just need to go on a ride for vibes and that's what I did.
Really nice.

It's a really nice book.
I liked the dynamic and the banter and I loved their relationship.
I'm a bit disappointed at some bits because they felt rushed but I did like the resolution.
Taylor and Abigail finally had an heart to heart and, unlike a lot of people, I feel like fear was a great response to such a traumatic even. I do feel like a lot of people don't talk about their trauma (reveng porn, in this case) and don't go to judge because they are ashamed. So, yes, I feel it was kinda like a normal reaction at first. Some times, you do need support from others.
The Kai situation was the most rushed part but I can't really complain.
I had fun, I loved the characters and I wanted more. Really nice work.

Yeah...no.
I do find the story cute in some way but this book is not it.
The way severe trauma are used to brought two characters together but mainly on a sexual base is really upsetting.
The idea that a man, known for a month, could save u and erase all your fear is cheap and so his Garret's dad plot.
All the trauma is resolved with some cliché sentences and sex. Again and again.
That's not how you built a stable relationship and not how you help each other grow.
I especially didn't like the constant dragging of other girls down. Just, why?
Logan, my number 1 boy, forever.

Just, no.
The plot was good, I was caught by it but the execution? No. Absolutely not.
It's boring, it's flat and it's so ridiculous.
The male protagonist faints so much that I was sure he was a Dante Alighieri rip of. The fmc is supposed to be a strong one and while she's trying, she's as stupid as a rock but more arrogant.
There's no way they survived beside plot armour and a lot of ridiculous deaths.
Take this book away from me, I can't think about it anymore.
Once again: just, n o.
