The first chapter of this book hooked me! I LOVED Beyah as our main character. Her trauma was so real and so developed. I completely understood the reasons behind her feelings and actions. Absolutely did not question her attraction to Samson. Two sad, lonely hearts connecting? *sigh* Beyah grew SO MUCH as a character and I loved being part of every step. Also adored the relationship she develops with her step sister Sara. This was incredible!

I’m not sure if I’ll find another romance I loved as much as this. At first, I was a little put off by our characters being seniors in high school. I thought I wouldn’t be able to get immersed in the story, but I was SO WRONG. Friends to enemies to lovers, I was rooting for Misha and Ryen. I loved how Misha pushed Ryen and drove her to be who she truly wanted to be. They were both such thinkers who really observed the people around them. Their relationship was EVERYTHING I wanted. I loved this trope. I loved this book, but it has possibly ruined me for other novels lol. I will end by saying: CAR WASH SCENE
