✨ARC REVIEW✨
4⭐️ Change of Pace by Kayla Grosse
Jesse and Ash had my heart from the get go. I fall so quickly for Kayla’s characters it’s a bit embarrassing.
Jesse I think honestly may be the strongest FMC I’ve read of Kayla’s. She not only a survivor, but she ends up just going for it and wanting to live her fullest. Wears her heart on her sleeve even if she doesn’t want to always admit to what it’s feeling.
Ash is such a cat daddy and I love him for it. I def loved the added touch of him not being ripped and having that “dad bod”. And a nerd on top of it all!
This road trip romance was such a cute read. It made it even better when I have actually been to at least half of the paces they went to!
This is the lowest spice book I feel like out of them all ( don’t worry the senes are hot), the main story takes the cake though.

I really appreciated that fact that the spicy scenes didn’t take away from the plot of the story.
Candice and Nate have a classic enemies to lovers relationship. Old friends where a total misunderstanding at first meeting has led to this 4 year hate of one another.
Through working together on Candice’s horse rescue the walls melt and chemistry is obvious. The spicy scenes were hot when they happened. Open door and explored a few kinks.

(ARC Review)
This series is just getting better and better! It was great to see her relationships develop and even more so see her start fighting against the Empire.
I won’t lie though that the last two chapters left me with so many questions (but in a good way). This book isn’t even out yet and I’m sitting here going when is the next one!
Kayia and Ty’s relationship is one I’m really glad we got to see develop. I felt for both of them and the struggle they have with the Mate bond.
Kayia and Liam make me just want to reach through the pages and shake them. I’m happy the Rein finally gets Liam to realize there is a bond with her. Now if he would finally admit that he still cares for her very much we could all get on with kicking the Empire in the butt.

What a great first book to this series! We get to meet Kayia our FMC and focus on Jaiel and Ty.
The magic system and world building is top tier in comparison to other fantasy books I’ve read. I had no issues following what was happening or where we were going.
Jaiel is probably my favorite in this book because of his banter. You can tell he’s hurting, but at the same time wants what’s best for those around him.
What a great start to an adventure and can’t wait to see where we go next.

This was my favorite couple in the series so far! I adore rose and her spunky personality! Fionne is also such a softy at heart and his confessions had my heart hurting for both of them!
Having the timeline between the two books and then extended farther was a great mix and connection to the rest of the series and characters.
10/10 for the series and can’t wait to see where Brynne takes us next

This book was a great set up for the rest of the series. You learned A LOT about Senna and what makes her the witch she is. Through the book though you are learning information at the same pace as the rest of the people in her life so there is some suspense and mystery to the plot.
Emerson (MMC) is one of the most powerful demons this side of the veil and is a big part of Senna’s past. Getting bits and pieces of his personality and their relationship definitely left you wanting more.
*CLIFFHANGER WARNING!!*
This was a great start to what I feel is going to be a fun series for us paranormal romance lovers.

College vibes, enemies to lovers romance, sisters ex, former childhood friends; this book has a little bit of everything.
Kamila has confidence, the looks, the focus, but also has some trust issues. Cameron shows up on campus and rocks her world off its axis. Having to work together on a school project for an entire semester brings up old feelings from being best friends in high school.
This was a fun read and the character were so easy to fall in love with. Kamila's friend group definitely reminds me of my group of friends personality wise.
Looking forward to more books set in Driscoll U.

This book was such a cute refreshing romance. Margot being your typical set in her ways FMC meets Forest who looks like every fictional man she’s ever wrote come to life. Their banter and chemistry was balanced just right for this plot.
I adored that even though there was probably every popular trope come to life in their story that it wasn’t cheesy.
Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a nice clean romance with a dash of spice 😉

I'm the biggest freaking sucker for some good banter. Lukas and Scarlett had top tier banter. It was funny. It was emotional. It was even a bit spicy (4 out of 5 on my scale for the scenes).
As a former college athlete I fully related to Scarlett's lifestyle of keep your head down and stay focused on your job. Her learning to embrace the fun and relax was something I'd wish I had done when I was in school.
Ali Hazelwood has quickly became a favorite author of mine and I'm diving deep ( no pun intended) into her books.
