Speechless. That was me after this book. This was my first Amo Jones book and my first ever dark book. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started this book. I didn’t know how the Kings would rule my life so completely that I missed them every moment I wasn’t reading them.

Bishop and Madison were perfection. They were made for each other. I loved their dynamic. I loved their chemistry. They both had so many layers to themselves that you couldn’t not fall for them. They just had a way of breaking your heart with every moment yet putting it back together and owning that heart that they put back together. The mystery surrounding this book was perfection. I was hooked every moment and couldn’t put it down. I was confused, wondering what was happening yet at the same time I loved the confusion. Deep down I knew the confusion was worth it in the end and it was. The ending shook me to my core and I jumped straight into the second book, loving every moment.

Amo’s writing is one of those rare ones. The ones that speak to your soul and give you life. The ones that speak to that very small, hidden, dark part of you that just wants to be let out and that part was let out. That part is thriving with every Amo book.
