4.75. The characters were nice, and the plot was great. Catherine was very likable This only thing that seemed out of place were Luke’s random journal entries. They were out of nowhere, and they were just stating things the reader could easily pick up on.

DNF. I liked Jack. He was fine. Olivia was alright too. Them together...I wasn’t feeling it. All you read about is how they have the hots for each other, but they don’t really express it TO each other. So it seems like they go from fighting to making out, out of nowhere.

At the 60% mark the story really started to drag. I felt like it could have wrapped up sooner. I found myself trudging through the pages, hoping it would pick up, but it still hasn’t. I’m at the point that I don’t even care about the ending.

Also the plot twists all came from left field to me. There were many times I said “Huh???” out loud.

I find that the real appeal of this book is that the heroine ISN'T likable. I think that is really rare, and is a breath of fresh air. She's a b*tch, and that's just who she is, no matter what. You have to at least respect that she is just being herself.

This is what I’m talking about! Logan was the sweetest hero! We love a big teddy bear! AND THE FACT THAT HE NEEDED GLASSES!!!! I’m living.

DNF at 48%. This book was going a bit slow for me. Still, I enjoyed that Claudia and Joseph are really taking their time in getting to know each other well.
