I almost gave up on this book but read a review that said it got better. And it did, but not by a lot. The first 100 pages felt unnecessary and boring, then things pick up. I felt like the concept was really well done, and some of the writing, but it felt like this book needed more editing and time. I felt the emotions of the protagonist and enjoyed the journey with her, though sometimes it felt a bit 101. The ending also was a lazy cliffhanger, which I often enjoy but felt this one ended abruptly. Glad I finished it, but not my favorites of books.
