ok this one was also surprising, it did started really fast and one look and they're obsessed? i mean i know I know it's the whole mate thing but still idk i prefer a little slow burn but that's personal preference
overall it was fun and entertaining and i read it pretty fast, not gonna lie, i couldn't put it down soo that's says a lot, i liked the characters, specially knox, cael and cillian and of course hayden, i can see maddox potential so let's see what the other books bring! tho this reminds me a lot of the bond that tie series but yeah

this was surprisingly good and i had so much fun!!! october and zoey were so good omg october my queen always standing up for zoey and wanting to protect her no matter what ugh loved them! zoey being the comic relief or at least trying to make almost every situation more light and lighting up the mood was so funny! loved seeing the development with her brothers too and the "mystery" of that girl was a intriguing plot!
didn't thought i was going to ending up really loving this and i did so im happy!!
also??? the mentions of addicted world characters in here? i was living for that! october having jane has her fave? please best woman ever period!

this was so much fun what the hell?? i knew i was going to like it but i ended up really loving it damn!
it's my first dark romantic comedy and this author has become one of my faves for sure ehehe need to read book two!!
overall, the banter between rowan and sloane was so amazing and funny and cute and then so hot and the sexual tension was so there from the beginning so fun! also rowan being already so obsessed with sloane and that's why he came up with the game just to see her again and again? that man eheh then sloane had her own demons and loved that she was a serial killer going after serial killers but had her own struggles and insecurities, it made her so human but also relatable, loved her friendship and closeness with lark my babies then loved how this was kinda friends to lovers in a way, first they're friends doing this competition once a year and talking a lot and saving each other ehehe, tho rowan was already down bad, loved seeing sloane slowly figuring it out the big picture and falling for him too! their journey was fun and dark and check trigger warnings bc there was one scene that made me pause the book for a few minutes damn but overall loved it and so excited for the second book, i can see the banter is going to be even better than sloane and rowan!!

ok i had to think about this one because, i really liked it, the world is amazing is interesting is just unique in its own way, but then the beginning of the book for me was a little bit too slow... i get it but with work and me being tired i felt like i was reading the book for months now! tho after the 50% mark kinda of, it become better, with more action and they finally met and going together and even meeting more people and those people going with them to the mission and all, so overall i had fun with the book and the ending?? made me so excited for the second book and also scared because the second is bigger but now that i know the world better and i already love the characters it's going to be different!!
zafira is so driven and caring and just wants to protect people and i really liked her, nasir had his moments, sometimes i wanted to slap him then i just wanted to hug him and tell him it will get better than he deserves better and to be honest, he definitely does, his dad is a piece of sht and i hate him but then what we learn about his dad and the truth yeah complicated but let's see how that plans out, but nasir is so strong and i really liked that he wanted to kill altair but at the same time protect him too, deep down nasir cares and doesn't show it that often but his actions say other wise sooo! then altair is definitely my fave i mean impossible not to, that man is strong, he's funny and he's so flirty ugh he bought light and fun to the book, i was just so eager to scenes with him and also powerful damn ok let's go!
also benjamin was good too, i ended up really liking him and this book almost made me cry that character didn't deserve that but at the same time was to save someone but ugh!!
the book also has good plot twists, i was so excited every time we discovered a new thing either about the history or about nasir and zafira, really liked it!
anxious and nervous but also yeah excited for the second book idk when im going to read it but might be still this summer who knows!!
but the world is so magnificent i really love it, i just wish the author had the glossary in the book and not only on the website, the website helps obviously but having it on the book is so much better but yeah, that and the beginning being so slow for me are the reasons im not giving a 5 stars but the second book tho who knows who knows because the writing is beautiful too sooo it's a strong 4 stars for sure!

rafael and ellie, ellie and rafael, rafael and ellie and nico? best people ever for one of the most beautiful heartbreaking heartwarming book ever ugh!!
this book gave me all the feels and let me tell you the only reason it isn't 5 stars, it's because it's way too big for a romance book, i loved it and when i was reading it didn't really feel
that long and the story wasn't repetitive or even boring or just with unnecessary scenes to be honest but you could tell it was big and it's not that necessary!! but the book was just so fun and then got sad because of both ellie and rafael's struggles but then it go heartwarming again and it was the best! the trip to Hawaii?? was so entertaining ehehe this definitely goes to one of my faves single dad/nanny trope books list haha like right beside irresistible by melanie harlow!
ellie deserves the world, the way she found safety with music and writing music i relate to that a lot, not the part of writing, but safety in music yeah and the way she still battles with her demons after so long, makes her so human and such a strong woman and then still so caring and kind and amazing and sweet and sometimes happy, love that for her, also finally found the one who sees her and respects her and loves her deeply and also nico being her fan number one too, their bond was just so wholesome love it!!
rafael wasn't my fave in the first book, tho his banter with julian was so fun, i wasn't his bigger fan but in his book? he got my respect and love, the things he did for his son? the things he did to protect the ones he cares deeply? he might not always been the best dad or even man, but he learned and he grow and he's the best! that man was down bad for ellie since ever it was so funny, the way he always tried to deny it, sure sir sure i see youuu! at the beginning when he fired ellie, i did get his side, i mean it's his son he deserves to know when he's suffering even when nico doesn't want to really upset his dad again but he needs to know, and ellie not telling him was bad but then i also get ellie, she didn't want to really betray nico's trust in her and their bond was already so good, she didn't really want to mess it up, but rafael then understood in a way and he also missed her a lot soo haha she goes back and they go to Hawaii, that trip was so fun and hot, ellie and rafael's chemistry was so magnificent loved it!!
i really liked julian and dahlia in this one, they were so funny!! but let me go back to rafael and that mouth of his, when he flirted with ellir and ellie with him, it was amazing, he made me giggle and kick my feet in the air like literally made me giggle like a school girl in public in the middle of the train damn!
i loved them, im obsessed with them, loved the romance, loved the way they was there for each other no matte what, loved nico so much that kid is just wonderful!! loved how complexed they really were and still battling their demons and struggles but got stronger every day, a day at the time just being better! go read this book please! and ohhhhhh the next one if going to be a fake fiance/fake marriage with lily and lorenzo??? OMG IM SO ON!! i already really like lily and seeing a little bit more of lorenzo in this book was also really good, so it got me SO EXCITED AAA let's go!
but ellie and rafael and nico might be my faves from this series ehehe for now they truly are!!

ok i think i liked this one a lot, still just sm*t no thoughts head empty kinda of book but check trigger warnings please!!?!
bridget is my fave of all the girls and i kinda knew it eheh she's so sassy and cute at the same time and so funny, seeing her finally finding someone/someones who treat her right and care deeply for her and are worthy of her makes me so happy yes! caden is a fave too, he reminds me of gabe and kinda mateo too, i think there's a pattern right there haha!
this one is fun then at the end all goes to hell like literally hell and damn why end like that !!

okay omg i read it and i really really liked it!!! it's not a four or five stars because one, there's only rose's pov and i really wanted lissa's too, because even tho it wasn't that bad and i could see lissa with christian and knowing what she was feeling through rose's bond, i really wanted from lissa's perspective and not coming from rose you know? then two because idk the writing is easy but sometimes i could get a little confused about "timeline" in a way, it happened kinda fast some scenes but overall still so fun!!
really liked christian, i wasn't his biggest fan when i watched the movie, but in the book i really like him, he's actually fun without trying to being fun and he's sassy and caring sooo really liked him, rose obviously my absolute fave but sometimes i wanted to slap her, idk some things she says and thinks kinda annoyed me, specially when she pulled christian and lissa apart small things tho but still annoying tho yes she's my fave idc! lissa was ok i guess, like her, the way she cares and how kind she can be and her love for animals is actually so cute, then dimitri was intriguing, he was similar and also so different from christian, where christian is like more grumpy and sassy at the same time, Dimitri is more maybe obviously more mature and quiet but deeply cares and protects with all of him so i need to see even more of him but i like him yes! natalie was like in the movie tbh, annoying but cute in a way until THAT part of the book
it wasn't a big plot twist, i was sad obviously, i watched the movie so i knew but still was interesting and i am going to continue with the series, im so excited but sad for dimitri and rose tho im ready for their sexual tension and kinda slow burn maybe? and banter soo
AND UHH i need rose and christian to have more scenes and bond because i really like them together, i can sense a great friendship ehehe
