Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.
Feels like I've read this sort of book before. Just found boring and not interesting.

Super cute and quick read despite the long length. Loved the humor of the characters. This was my first Meghan Quinn read but definitely won't be the last.

A cute read but despite my live for Ms Huangs books I found myself struggling to get through this one.  I have no idea why. The characters and plot were interesting if not predictable but also loveable. I can only sa  I'm a huge mood reader and all her other books were 5 star reads for me. This one, slowed me down a bit.

Surprisingly lighthearted for an arranged Mafia romance. A bit predictable at times but that's what makes for a nice, quick read. They're too many ultra dark romances out there - this is not one. Enjoy.

Winter Lost was an adventure from beginning to end. It takes place shortly after the events of the previous book, Soul Taken - where Mercy is suffering from the effects of the artifact. Now, Gary - her half brother needs assistance that only Mercy can provide. Through Ms.Briggs' mysterious and twisting storytelling - you'll find out what's going on at the heart of the storm in Winter Lost. Your favorite ensemble cast of characters appear, but this book primarily focuses on the mission in Montana, along with some new viewpoints from other characters we've yet to see. A great addition to the Mercy Thompson collection and one that is furthering the grand game of the Mercy-verse.

A good read, but you definitely need to read the first book to understand this one. I'm not a huge fan of these books. While they're entertaining, they feel a little all over the place. Lots of convenient plot info dumping that sometimes make it hard for me to keep things straight.

Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger! This one kept me reading but I was confused a lot trying, along with the FMC, to figure out what was going on. There's a lot of vampire things in here that reminds me of our favorite teenage vampire angst movie. Venom. Obsession. Even the song of blood. Except in French instead of Italian. I'd read the next one cause I'm too committed now and I have to know what happens!

This has been my fav new read this year! Loved the humor, the cast of characters and the main duo! Workplace romance with grumpy/sunshine and a tiny bit of some angst towards the end. But always love a good HEA!

Light, hilarious read. Love all the quirky side characters and the humor under it all. Great rom-com.
