This book broke my heart, and somehow managed to sew it back together, all in 514 pages. Noah is such an incredible character, claiming him as my book boyfriend, and the relationship and issues are mind capturing.
At times the plot is cliché, but it's so we'll written that it makes you question whether it will follow the expected route.
But they all lived happily ever after, well apart from Chase maybe.

Being Mortal by Atul Gawande

Gawande gives an insight into how difficult balancing quality of life and length of life can be in palliative care and as a doctor. Through stories of care homes, assisted living and cancer patients, he illustrates how care is adapted for different patients, but how ultimately all care should move towards supporting the patient's wants and needs, even if it goes against the traditional means of medicine.

Overall, I found the plot of this book a bit too predictable. Building up to the main mystery of the book took time, and I found myself guessing what was going to happen before it did, something I havent experienced before with Jackson's novels.
However, the book managed to make me worry for Pip and Ravi and I was genuinely nervous at times for them, hoping for the best whilst expecting the worst. The continued backstory weaved through the series continued, and led to a well rounded end. I really enjoyed how Ravi and Pip's relationship was slightly more present in this book, without it being too overwhelming and drawing away from the rest of the story.
I'm glad this is the last full novel for the story, it felt complete. Although, if a novella came out to round up Pip and Ravi's happy ending, I would absolutely read it.

Omg I love Jackson's writing, I couldn't put this book down either. The continuation from A Good Girls Guide To Murder is subtle, not a cliché series, but a series that allows further development of the characters and another brilliant mystery. Again the plot twists were unexpected, and Jackson cleverly included new and old characters. I really enjoyed how aspects of the first book were carried through into this one, without feeling forced or just there for continuation. I do, however, think the relationship between Ravi and Pip could have been expanded more, but also do understand why he wasn't a major character.

Such a good book, it starts much slower and takes a while to build up, but as soon as you reach the chaos, it's incredible and so difficult to put the book down. Steadman writes so well, always giving twists to the plot just as you think you can predict what's going to happen next.

Absolutely loved reading this and couldn't put the book down!!
The connection formed between reader and characters is amazing, and I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen next. The author writes beautifully, and really engages the reader. Her plot twists kept me engaged and I couldn't stop reading! Can't wait to read more of her novels!

I absolutely loved this and struggled to put it down. Jess and Juno are the most incredible characters, I felt I really got to know and relate to Jess and understand her struggles and Juno really added a twist at times. River was such a loving character and I held onto hope for him right until the very end. All of the characters' lives became an investment as I read the book, and learning how Jess balanced Mom life and work life and love life was truly admirable. 100% recommend this book.

The first part of the book is rather slow, but after you get through it, you are greeted with the beautiful reward of an incredible novel.
The relationship built between Emmett and Lucian is so beautiful and I'm so glad it comes back to them at the end, and Lucian finally remembers and discovers his true past

I'd love a follow up book to this, even just a novella to show how the story continues.

Definitely would've been a 5 star review, however I felt that the first 200 pages or so were quite slow pace, but also liked how that reflected the way Emmett was living at the time. The rest of the book was incredible though, the book has definitely earnt its place on my favourite shelf, and the beautiful hardback cover is stunning too.
