This is just so damn cute. V spicy, but also v cozy. A good, quick read.

This one is so long and so slow. I also hate unlikable characters. Like, we know who President Snow is. This is his origin story and the story of the Hunger Games. It is truly awful (the concepts not the book/series) and so blood curdling that I didn't really want to read this. There are truly no redeeming qualities to Coriolanus Snow and it takes 517 pages to tell you that. The history, backstory, and call backs were great. I loved that and hate Snow

I feel like something was missing from this one.

The other females that didn’t resonate right away had something biologically blocking them since the khui is for mating. There was no biological block mentioned for Maddie and Hassan so I feel like this one was kind of forced. They just fall in love and magically resonate? I dunno. But damn if I am not excited for more lore and history.

oh. my. god. War is amazing. I love how much more lore we've unlocked. War seems much more experienced than his brother, Pestilence. Pestilence definitely seems like the baby deer/virgin whereas War is more robust. This book is much more violent (well, duh. War) and had me in it's clutches until the very end. I am obsessed with this series.

This book made me cry. I love love so much and especially the old couple got me. I have a very niche special interest in virology as well as catholistic Armageddon so 10/10 setup here. It's a little NA (new adult) but big fan. Loved this lots.
