The Amazing Alpha Tau Self-Improvement Project by Lisa Henry, Sarah Honey
5.0
This is such a comfort read for me
You're Ours by D.C. Emerson
5.0
There aren't that many romances out there with aro MCs, and this novella was great
On the Edge by J.J. Mulder
5.0
J.J. Mulder is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers of MM hockey romances. All books are different from one another, with MCs that have original backgrounds and stories.
In this book (and also in the previous books in the series), Henri completely steals the scene. His neurodivergence is never officially stated in the book or by the author, but he spoke to my autistic heart. He was genuinely a good person with a heart of gold, and the way he never gave up on Atlas was perfect.
We only see a glimpse of why Atlas has such a prickly persona, but from what we see, it is pretty understandable. Together, they create the perfect black cat/golden retriever pairing.
It didn't affect my enjoyment of the book, but I found it a bit unrealistic that Henri speaks 5 European languages but he is struggling with English after living 4 years in the States (and presumably after years of English at school in Germany).
I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews, and this is my honest review.

The Last Nanny in Manhattan by K. Sterling
Did not finish book.
Did not finish book.
There were some interesting elements that subverted my expectations of a nanny story. BUT there was too much going on. If the two MCs had met in another situation (instead of being nanny and father and getting involved when they clearly shouldn't), I would have read the book
Under the Lupine Moon by A. Knightley
4.25
Cozy, spicy, and with some real plot tension. The romance is insta-love and fated mates, but the two MCs take some times to get together, which was great
Here Comes Treble by London Price
4.5
Cute cute cute, not a 5 stars because for some reasons it ends on a cliffhanger???
