War was a man who found what he never knew was possible in Ora. She turned his life around in ways he never saw for himself. Ora found the family link that she was missing with the Serpents of Chaos brothers. I loved the twins Skull and Bones, they were the perfect comic relief, hope Fernando gives them a story. Ora and War had to go through a lot of growth to get to their HEA.

"Save Your Breath" is the fourth book in Kings of Ice series, and while you can definitely dive into it without reading the previous books, it’s a ride worth taking if you enjoy a good mix of tension, romance, and a dash of hockey of course. This one blends hockey, pop stars, friends-to-lovers, and fake dating tropes into one exciting, swoon-worthy read.
Even with all these elements, it somehow all clicks together perfectly. The tension between Alek and Mia is excruciating, and the slow burn had me hooked from the start. As expected with Steiner’s books, there’s plenty of angst, but it’s the good kind—the kind that makes you root for the characters even more as they figure things out.
Alek has so many layers to him, making him a fascinating character to follow as he navigates his complicated relationship with himself as well as Mia. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and their development as a couple felt organic and satisfying.
The supporting characters also brought a lot of charm, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the book.
All in all, "Save Your Breath" is another  hit by Steiner. It’s a perfect blend of romance, tension, and lovable characters. If you’re looking for a book that has—sizzling chemistry, character growth, and a plot that keeps you hooked—grab this one.

Ah Gio! A goalie and a romantic who likes the hot professor, Austin is perfect. Nova was hilarious and a big Gio ball buster as only a twin sister could be. Austin and Gio have a fast-paced romance with all the hilarious banter Ney is known for. I enjoyed the scenes of them at both their jobs. can never look at a Zamboni the same: Austin's dog, HAHAHAHA, and Gio's determination to win him over.

Roman is the ultimate alpha cinnamon roll that Hunting has ever written. Lexi and Roman’s unconventional romance was sweet as it was spicy. They balanced each other out and created a perfect found family with her sisters. Loved seeing how Tristan and Conner behaved towards her sister Callie. The Terror is truly a found family in itself.

Snow has given us a hot steamy Mafia Godmother who needs to regain her power. Theo and Xander never gave up looking for their Angel, while Nerine was longing to be back with them. Being in hiding sounded like a good idea at the time. Theo, Xander, and Nerine scenes could melt the pages on my kindle, their story got their HEA they needed with a twist. Hope Snow gives us her sisters in this series, Fiona is a spitfire. Solon family is seen through out the book whch I like seeing past couples in their current lives.

Camden‘s love of hockey has been dwindling with his non-stellar NHL career. He’s been bounced around from team to team until he lands with the IceHawks. Inez see something in Camden that others don’t. Their attraction to each other was undeniable, but could ruin both their careers. With both trying to prove something to the team, their love will find a way.  Lots of Easter eggs of future books in the icehawk series.

Audrina and Thatcher are two satellites circling each other their entire lives. They are best friends and the perfect couple even if they’re not. I wanted to shake Audrina and keep saying what is wrong with you, most of the book. Aleo gave us great angst and reconnection between Thatcher and Audrina. Adore their families being so involved in their lives, and who doesn’t love seeing past Ice Cats in their current lives.

Skye was fabulous, I want to be her feisty self when I grow up. Henry and her educating Lucas on what happened while he napped was hilarious. Lucas and Skye had a whirlwind romance that will have eternal love with lots of snarky banter that Scott is known for. Henry was my favorite person, I wanted him to be my friend. The world that Scott built in the book makes me beg for more in this series. I need to know what happens to Henry and Lucas' other 'children'.

Blake and Rowan‘s romance was from high school to the second chance as adults. Both of them needed to grow up to become the people they needed to be to make the relationship a lifelong partnership. When do you put others' needs above your own? Mizera dives into the theory of when you hang up your skates and admit you’re never getting the career you hoped for due to your own mistakes.  Playoff is an angst read, along with seeing some familiar characters that are loved in the Phantom family.

Harper is a strong, independent woman who just can’t find a faithful man. Felix is recovering from my heartbreak and collides on a path with Harper. It’s supposed to be fun and games turn into something so much more. Harper and Felix have a sizzling love life. It starts with a fake relationship and quickly turns into real love. Low gave us all the spiciness with all the emotional feel as Harper got her groove on.
