And now it’s Sawyer’s Time…
In books 1 and 2, we learn about all three baseball players. Best friends and teammates, Caden, Brady, and Sawyer. Sawyer is definitely more secretive than his buddies. They all have their issues and for good reasons. Sawyer is the playboy of the group. Well, of them were, but Sawyer goes so far beyond the definition. And now his team is sick of it. He’s been warned, he didn’t listen, and now his job is on the line. His reputation is starting to make the team look bad. So pretty much, clean it up..to get out. So he comes up w a plan.
Aspen plays piano at Juilliard. She’s been accepted into the masters program but her twin brother Denver is in trouble. She can’t afford to do everything. So one night when she meets Sawyer, he propositions her with a plan. He will pay her to be his girlfriend.
I loved the first two books and was really excited to read about Sawyer. Sooo…overall, I still did really like the story. That being said, this is so drawn out. The whole plot becomes, we can’t be together. Like 90% plus of the book. It got old after a while. Even after we find out why he is the way he is..which took forever..it still didn’t fall into place until the very end. Then the end was rushed. Ugh. But this series was still great and I can’t wait to read the spin-off series.

In book one, Catching Caden, we also see quite a bit of his best friends and teammates, Brady and Sawyer. Each one has had something happen in their past..and now we get to read about Brady. Whew…grab a tissue.
You may know what that tragedy is, but I’m not going to spoil it. Brady has sworn off relationships, much like his Friends. He just goes through the motions each day. He loves baseball and that is pretty much all he lives for. So when something happens, he finds himself in rehab and not in a good place. His Physical Therapist is Rylee, and they hit it off right away. She has her own secrets and story to tell. The more time Brady and Rylee spend with each other the closer they become. But they both know it can’t go too far…or can it?
Such great stories. These start off light and fun..the baseball world created is lots of fun to read about. They guys are great friends and have a lot of banter amongst them, yet at the same time they protect each other and care about each other fiercely. The ladies are also all close and very supportive. As we learn about the issues and tragedies..grab a tissue or ten. But it’s very uplifting and encouraging to see them from start to finish, fighting for what they want and for what’s important.

Caden, a pro baseball player, has a no relationships rule. Like baseball, three strikes and you’re out. He and his friends never know who they can really trust so they don’t get close enough to find out. It’s baseball season and Caden is playing well. He gets up to bat and…it’s gone. As he rounds the bases he looks up and realizes something is wrong. Oh no, his ball hit someone. After the game, he goes to the hospital to visit the person. He first thinks it’s a guy, Murphy, but is shocked to see it is in fact a woman. She’s beautiful. She has no idea who he is, which he finds refreshing. The more she talks, the worse he feels. He keeps blaming himself.
Murphy is a model and had just signed her first big contract. Now her cheek bone is broken and she needs surgery. Each day Caden comes to visit and a friendship is started. At first, she thinks he pities her but learns it’s just Caden, he’s a great guy. He does so many things to help her, including finding her a new job after losing her contract. He is determined to teach her baseball and she can’t deny she likes spending time with him.
What starts as a friendship grows, and both Caden and Murphy realize they have feelings for the other. Both scared to move to that level, but decide to try it. I can’t tell you everything that happens and it’s not all roses. He has crazy fans, and she has a crazy ex, and so on. Really looking forward to his friends stories, Brady and Sawyer. This had all the feels. Fun banter and chemistry but shed a tear or two also. Great read.

Griffin has grown up his whole life in a competition. He’s the younger twin and their whole lives they have been competing. But now that they are adults, it’s quite unhealthy. Griffin and his brother are night and day and Griffin gives everyone what they expect from him, a goof, a screwup. His brother will never see any different, so it seems. So after Griffin made some not so great remarks, his agent sent him on a vacation of sorts..away from the spotlight. He didn’t expect to run into an old acquaintance.
Ruby used to be neighbors to the King brothers. She would climb a tree and watch them play together when they were younger. She admired that they were good at everything. Her whole life has been planned, and predicted, and following a certain plan and she was sick of it. She wanted to live. Stepping outside of her box, she runs into her old neighbor Griffin. At first, she wants nothing to do with him but soon finds she feels comfortable around him. She also realizes very quickly, he’s not the guy everyone protrays him to be.
They come to an agreement, to spend time together while he’s in town, but what starts out as something fun turns into something much more meaningful.
This was a cute read. Some parts were really good, fun banter and chemistry, some parts read a bit long, but still entertaining over all. I wish the middle would have shortened a bit to allow for shorter jumps towards the end..some moments would have been fun to read about that were skipped. Thank you NetGalley, appreciate and enjoyed the book.

The Way We Collide- Hendrix, Raven, and Baby Hayden
🏘️ Small Town

🍼 Surprise Baby
❣️No cheating, No third-act breakup
💩 LOL
The Bradford Brothers..swoon!
The Bradford men all followed in their father’s footsteps, playing pro football. Each man born to play, live and breathe football. But as each Bradford brother swears football is their life..something or someone along the way seems to change them. Hendrix watches each brother, their lives changing, and he will not budge..football is his life! He will not be like his brothers..no wives..no baby..no 💩.
Raven grew up in a beauty pageant world, her mom a former queen. But Raven didn’t fit the norm for this world, at least not in her mom’s eyes. The constant manipulation, ridicule, never good enough, demeaning comments. Then her father had a jewelry empire, wanting Raven to work along side him after college. But Raven wanted to pave her own path and chose not to follow in either of her parent’s footsteps. She had her own dreams and wasn’t going to let anyone stand in the way of that. Her mom thinks she’s going to get the last laugh but it will be Raven laughing in the end.
It’s a Bradford’s wedding day and Hendrix and Raven have been paired up, groomsman and bridesmaid. They have a great weekend together before going about their lives. Neither knowing at the time, that weekend will forever change their lives.
Fast forward 15 months, Hendrix’s season is about to start and he reflects on that. He thinks they can go all the way this year. He receives a text from his older brother Jack. Jack asks him to fly home before football season starts, they have family business to discuss. Always ready to visit his family, he jumps on a plane and heads home. He’s welcomed by his family and he’s excited to see Raven there as well. He’s thought about her a lot. But who is the kid his sister is holding? Reading his mind, Dylan turns to him and says, meet Hayden..your daughter. Ahhh! So good! So many good moments and funny moments! And for Hendrix to not want any part of wives and babies and 💩, he will make every one swoon! He is a good man after all, so of course he’s going to step up. This is a must read! Don’t forget to read his brothers as well. Great world created around the Bradford family.

This was Everything!
This is book 5 in the Everlasting Ink Series. All of them are so good! Five best friends that own Everlasting Ink together. Each story about a different friend. Can We Try is Lachlan and Maggie’s story.
Lachlan has watched his four best friends find a soulmate and some of them have become fathers. He sees the appeal. This is what he wants also. He loves his friends but to have that one person to love, to create a family with, to have forever..he’ll find her.
Maggie was brought into the group via one of the wives. They work together and now they are all her friends. She was quite lonely and these ladies, and their husbands, have been great fun and support to her.
One night, all the friends and spouses have vacationed together, and all the couples have gone to bed. That leaves Lachlan and Maggie. The only two single people left in the group. They have become good friends by association. That night will forever change their lives.
Lachlan will make anyone swoon. He is so caring and supportive. I don’t want to spoil anything so it’s hard to keep quiet. All five of these guys are tough on the outside, teddy bears on the inside. Can We Try will take you through a range of emotions so be prepared. Loved this book, loved this series. The world create was everything. The whole EI group, always there for each other, support and love each other.

Finally! This is one where you will want to read the series in order.
Throughout the series, these six siblings have a very powerful father, Russell King. But as time has gone on, something is off and the King kids plan on finding out what it is.
JP King has been brought up to take over King Equities. The other five siblings have stayed away, for the most part, thinking he is like their father. But when JP hires Veda, he wants her to look over everything at King Equities..so he can take his father down. Now, all six kids on the same side, with the same fight, they must all work together to prove the corruption by their father. But he has perfected manipulation and corruption, and secrets and payoffs, so the job won’t be easy. But they have a plan.
So so good. Royal is one of the siblings, owning a tattoo parlor, and he is smitten with Veda from the start. Veda feels the same. But both of them find something familiar about the other. This one was really good! The rest..you have to read.

Madison has had a crush on Mauro since night school. He was part of the popular crowd and she was not. There was one moment ten year ago..but then reality hit and he ignored her.
Fast forward into adulthood. Maddie and her friends are at an auction, each friend actioning for one another. Her friends chose Mauro to bid on and win. Now Maddie has a date with him. The date doesn’t exactly go well but that won’t be their last interaction. Maddie and Mauro both want to flip a house and find themselves bidding on the same lot. So they agree to partner up and revitalize the house together. So of course, close proximity, brings them together.
Mauro is a firefighter and has a very dangerous job. He finds himself bored on his days off hence the property flip. He lost a buddy six months ago and had been trying to help his widow and child. (She is the downfall of the book. Yes you feel sorry for her but take a hint. Or maybe after he says no three or four times, take his word for it. ) Anyways, so there is a bit of misunderstanding in the book, ugh! But it ends up being more about how Maddie feels about herself, she stills sees that girl from ten years ago.
So you are going to want to read these books in order. I wouldn’t exactly call the end a cliffhanger but there is an ongoing issue from book one that will continue into book two. The other two books are Mauro’s brothers, one a cop, one EMS. Overall, I like the book and I do want to read about the brothers.

Elizabeth is top of her class and now headed into her first year of residency. The hospital is excited to have her. They want one of their best doctors, Aiden, to be her mentor. He wants no part of teaching her. But he concedes the point and actually thinks this might be a good thing..someone to help out. He practically lives at the hospital; it is his life.
From the moment they meet, they are both quite smitten. But neither one of them wants a relationship, who has time? As they start to work together, they get along really well. They both work hard, they communicate well, and make a good team. Then they decide to enter into a type of agreement..let’s say. They take things outside the hospital and in their personal time, move things “between the sheets” lol. Drum roll please.
Anyways, this works out for a bit until they both find themselves falling for the other. The one thing that absolutely can not happen. Not only can they not have any distractions, they actually can not date, per hospital rules. (Side note…ugh! This part got to me. Really? No one has rules like this anymore. You spend your life there, people are going to be attracted to others. Met my husband at work..it’s quite normal. Rant over) OK, so now they have to decide what is important and what they are willing to do or give up for the sake of love.
Cute read. First read for me of Weston’s and I’ll read others. Easy to read, pretty quick pace, steamy, quite entertaining!

Book 3 and still so good!
I personally would probably read these in order. If you’re a details person, definitely read in order. From book 1, Finding His Mark and book 2, Finding Justice, we sort of know there is something between Asher and Jessica. There is a lot of banter and chemistry..and everyone knows it.
It started 6 years ago, which no one knows. But for 6 years Asher and Jessica have tried to keep their distance. Now they work together, again, and there’s no way to stay apart. Especially when Luke goes out on paternity leave and Asher must step up. For two months Asher and Jessica have worked closer together and it’s getting really difficult for them to hide their feelings. Then when an issue arises, it’s impossible to hide.
They both have very dangerous jobs, so when they get close to losing their lives, something snaps. They are sick of the rules, sick of hiding, sick of pretending.. they want to be together. But that is also complicated.
I want to go on and on but also don’t want to spoil the story. These books are hard to put down. Lots of action, unpredictable moments; it just doesn’t stop. Captivating from beginning to end. Look forward to the other guys on the team.
