Where Violets Bloom by Daisy Jane

Where Violets Bloom is not like any other stalker romances I've read. It may have started out as a stalker story, it turned into a possessive/obsessed story. It was not as dark as I was expecting going into it, but I still really enjoyed it and only put the book down to eat or use the restroom. There were several parts that kinda made my eye twitch but the one that made me want to smack Violet was the whole situation with the notebook. I'm not going to give spoilers, but like girl come on! It was the first story I have read by the author and her writing style seems interesting so I will read more of her in the future!

Paranormal enemies to lovers
This was an interesting enemies to lovers. I loved the tension that you can see between Sage and Luka from the beginning and the banter between them and the friends was absolutely hilarious! I loved all the nicknames they had for each other. The story was written in such good detail, you can picture everything written. That freaking cliffhanger was not at ALL what I expected and I want book 2 to be out already! Even though it is on the mild side of spice for me, I really enjoyed it!

Slow burn that's worth it!
So I NEVER read slow burns as they are boring to me but Pleasing the Pastor was my first one that I have immensely enjoyed! It had a slight Daddy kink, age gap, and a taboo aspect that I absolutely loved that kept me reading until the end. It was extremely sweet how thought Samuel was essentially slightly obsessed with Skylar and he probably could've taken advantage of her, he didn't and was very caring of her.
