Cute story. Definitely read it around Christmas. Not the Christmas story you’re expecting, but definitely delivers on the A Christmas Carol zippy and unexpected twist. Main character is kind of annoying but she is a selfish teenage girl soooo can’t ask for too much there.
For you mood readers, this is a sad thoughts type of read. The struggles with mental illness, addiction and life in general can be triggering. There was some spiritual calm while reading from Gifty’s view of the world. I really enjoyed the way science and God coexisted in this read, how they contradicted each other. Yet even after Gifty judged herself and her religious practices, she still found her own way. This was a very moving, very sad book and although it abruptly ended for me, it is definitely a book people should read.
Meh! Def suggest reading it during spooky season. It picked up near the end.
3.5 stars. Not much depth to this sexually charged read but depth isn’t always necessary. I think if I wanted to I could really, really dislike Nicolas. He’s controlling, full of himself, psychotic and violent, the cons list is long. Yet somehow, it works for his character and I’m just infatuated. The plot line was a bit silly but it was a very fun read for me. Maybe it’s my mood, maybe it’s that the sex scenes are extremely well written. Whatever it is, it did the job.
Cute love story. Kinda depressing at times? But there is a dog in this love story and who doesn’t love a cute dog? A little longer than necessary that aside it’s a good winter read.
3.5 stars. Not my favorite of the series, but also not my least favorite. It’s got all the good stuff of book 1 with more character back stories.
Quirky New Year themed rom com. It had its moments, the plot is a bit silly. But it worked for me, there is character growth which I always love to see.
Audiobook Review
3.5 stars! Solid read for the New Year. Oona can get a little bit annoying but then again idk how my attitude would be if my 21 year old mind/memories was trapped in my 45 year old body. Audiobook actor was good not great, it’s one female voice that does all characters. If you don’t like that style of audio then probs pick up the physical copy. I thought the time jumping would confuse tf out of me but shockingly it didn’t!! All in all the scattered timeline ends up coming together pretty well in the end.

Mila + Ronan are hands down my favorite of the made series. OBSESSED with Ronan is an understatement. Mila is annoyingly like-able, especially because she has some very funny moments. I had moments of ummm should I be enjoying this as much as I am? And the answer is YES.
