So sad but so good! #hillzshelf March read (I’m almost caught up!)

I had to google a whole lot but this was a refreshingly honest read, I def cried. It did take a few chapters for me to really get into it but it was worth it.

Audiobook -- not bad, decent YA fantasy world building.

I refuse to tell a lie, but I took a massive break after the coffee shop scene because I was SO MORTIFIED & heartbroken for the main character! A testament to the author’s writing, I felt like I had just embarrassed myself at my local coffee shop!!

There were moments I laughed, teared up, and smiled throughout this book. My only issues were typos/grammatical issues that messed with the voice & flow of the novel. Otherwise this is a great, fun, read with a nice love twist I wasn’t expecting! Congrats and I can’t wait to read more by you, totally could see this as a tv series or romcom movie!

*SN - I should’ve remembered that this was inspired by serendipity! For anyone who is a fan of the movie, I think you’ll really like this one!

Had no clue where this book was going, glad it went where it went. Sad girl book for sure, had a lot of bittersweet feels throughout. Love the title.

Eh

“I had a marvelous time ruining everything” - YA romance lovers should read this vvvvv cute read.

Would’ve been 5 stars if it wasn’t so long, not saying it dragged, just my opine. Love the Spotify playlist, listened to it while reading obvs! Def a big fan of this style of smut, came highly recommended to me by my bookclub girlies at #hillzshelf. As always Hillz didn’t miss!

Eh

“Wow. That’s fucked up. I need to find a therapist when I get home.”

Sawyer was annoying, Enzo is a sociopath & I need to be evaluated as I’m concerned that I enjoyed this read as much as I did. Read the TW if you’re not into it do not read it

Not for me but also don’t want to rate her personal life experiences. The last 15 - 20 pages were okay but it was a lot of long winded sentences & the parenthesis omg the parenthesis was overkill. Also, the title is a bit misleading you don’t get to learn on “how to be alone” until literally the last 10 pages. Wouldn’t recommend.
