A reporter stinks at her job and so her cats snoop around town and do it for her and she takes all the credit. A new police officer joins her small city's force where her uncle is chief, but the catch is that the new guy is of course Mr. Bad Guy Hottie pants (better known as Captain Beefcake by Odelia's grandma) who may or may not (gotta read the whole series to find out) be a molester of women and that's why he was let go from the NYPD. Or was it simply a cover up for more sexual foul play he accidentally stumbled upon? NO ONE KNOWS! Well, Mr. Bad Guy Hottie pants has a rude bossy cat who bosses around Odelia's cats, so Odeila doesn't get along with Mr. Bad Guy Hottie because of all the molesting and rude cat business.

I loved the references to Harry Potter and Stephen King! Started off okay. So, yeah, this book was hilarious because the cats talk to their human, Odelia. So if you like the thought of boss cats talking to each other and a human and becoming detectives......haha...you will enjoy that humor. Now, this not high-quality literature by any means, but the idea behind talking detective cats was amusing. Also, the grandma in the sorry reminds me of mawmaw off the Netflix original "Raising Hope" and that was humorous.

At the end of the book, the only rational minded being appears to be Max....and he's a cat! Oh, boy. Anyways, the main character is reckless and mindless who loves breaking laws because her uncle is the chief of police. Mhm... so realistic! I don't blame Chase at all for wanting her to back off and let him do his blasted job!

Finally, this book is clearly written by a liberal and, as a conservative, this was highly amusing for me to read. Besides the blaring lack of morals and common sense, the writing is just poor.

There is too many things wrong with this book. I only made it through it because was so short and HILARIOUSLY HORRIBLE that it was entertaining in that aspect. I apologize to those who loved it so, but I just can't give it more than 2 stars for so many pit falls. It was lucky to even get 2.

The story is lacking, but I don't really care about the story. That's not what this book is supposed to be about. This book is about the conversations we have between ourselves personally as individuals with our creator, God and his son, Jesus Christ. It was a great, quick read which helps you reframe one's mind set if you have sunken or have been sunken into a negative, selfish frame of mind. It is so easy to think about what we think is good and evil and to live based off our independent emotions and feelings, choosing to separate ourselves from God's Word and Will. This book is a great read for any Christian. I don't recommend this book to unbelievers as much as I would someone who has already been in the Word for at least a few years.

If you enjoy snide, sassy comments of young adults mixed in with knock-off characters from any popular tv show or book who have all been sent to a reformatory for "doing magic in front of humans and risking exposure," than this book may be for you.

Plus, there's a similar romantic vibe to Twilight with A LOT less yucky, cheesy stuff. You know: her crush is the bad boy (duh), and she is just the normal with "small breasts" girl. The popular b... witchy girls want her to join their witch coven but of course she isn't about that life. She rather hang out with a vampire (but everyone knows vampires can't be trusted).

The story line goes on as your typical the-main-character-is-clueless-of-this-fantasy-world-she-has-never-been-apart-of-until-now kinda thing going on. So she's always last to find out.

The ending has some good moments of like "what just happened??". Fairly good twists for a book like this. Nothing new or surprising. There are pretty good quotes though that made me chuckle. Also, the author references Stephen King's "Carrie" in the beginning, and I very much approve that part.

You are warned: If you are a logical or technical reader, many of the things that happen in this book may make you scream a bit at the characters. Another words, some parts are unrealistic. But, just remember this isn't high-qualify and it's a young adult Twilight knock-off.

In the book he talks about how the nail isn't in the center of the hand, so why is that the cover of this book??

Otherwise, this book was informative in matters of how to have conversations with unbelievers or those in doubt. A great read for anyone: from unbelievers, to new Christians, to experienced Christians. Everyone can learn something from this book.

It is set up as a series of questions in which the writer, Lee, travels to visit with highly qualified individuals in order to ask them if these questions about Christ.

Topics such as historical evidence, archeology, psychology, logic, as well as spiritually are all brought together in one book for the search for proof that Christ was who he said he was: The Savior of the world who died and raised again to save us from our sins.

The main purpose is to look at Christianity objectively by looking at facts and validating those pieces of evidence as truth.

A woman loses her husband and another loses her daughter. The detectives do their best to piece together the mystery behind a little girl's disappearance and the private lives of perverted men.

If you don't like pedophile stories, don't read this one. I didn't particularly like reading about porn and pedophiles constantly. I like mysteries but not this topic.

The writing is confusing with the story told from multiple perspectives.

Overall, the plot was thrilling psychologically and the character were intriguing.
