It is an ok book, gives good "brain food for thinking" but that's it. It is good for those whom are interested in thelema and to those who would like to see some of Crowley's most personal works.

Good book for a light read during breaks, great ideas for vegan food, but I was not overly impressed. Although it is well written it did not manage to capture me and make me want to read more.
So, not sure if I am going to read the second book of the series any time soon now. Curious to see where the story will go though.
Yeah, very mixed feelings about it!

P.s. I loved the character of Dorian.

Really nice book!
When American horror story, meets the X-men and Harry Potter aesthetics.
Kept me reading and wanting to know what's next. Enjoyed it a lot and the moment I finished it I started reading the next one.
The characters are good and the plot twists unexpected.

I really enjoyed reading this book, to the point that when I finished it, I immediately started reading the next one.
I have a feeling that the first book was a bit better than this one, but they both are great overall. Hollow city is a bit more adventure and less "peculiarity" than the previous one.

It exceeded my expectations. The second book of the series was not as good as the first one so I kept my expectations low for this one.
I loved every single bit of it, the story, the action, the cliff hangers, everything. Well written and without any obvious plot hole. The last 20 pages of it had me almost in tears!
I actually feel sad now that I finished it, which is a great sign for when I read a book. Really nice book for light reading and very amusing as well.

Another great book of the Harry Potter Series.
The play was much more mesmerising but the script is non the less awesome!
I'd suggest this to every Harry Potter fan out there, even though I believe that everyone will read it!

I've read 80% of the book but can't fight the "courage" to finish it!
The descriptions of objects, people, places etc. are extraordinary and very well detailed BUT the whole story is absent.
Honestly 80% in the book and the plot just started to kick in, and it is so boring that I honestly can't imagine how people can finish this book. I almost never abandon a book but this time I've been so tired of reading that I am not even into the mood to find out what happens at the end.
Personally, I think that the descriptions in a book are to complement the story.

The only bad thing about the descriptions is that they are so detailed that the author does not leave much up to the reader's imagination.

Such a great little book!
Really delightful to read, different than the "happy ending" obsessed books and I also liked its educational side, when the "narrator" explains what certain words mean, which is great for both young people and also readers whose English is not their first language.

There is great information given in this book, but the material and the way of presentation feels very outdated. It has some very useful tips though!
