wasn't poorly written or anything. i'm not in the mood for this; painfully young adult, even with the college setting. i can't be bothered to care about anything going on in this plot. i felt like i've read this book before

this dragged. the main character was unlikeable in an enjoyable way at first until she became unbearable. which i get it, but i wasn't enjoying myself anymore. the epilogue was unnecessary to me

Pretty enjoyable. Like the way it started more than the way it ended. I found myself caring less and less but the writing and overall plot were really, really strong. It kept me entertained until the end. Also this is more my issue than the book's issue, but this was way darker and heavier than I was expecting / wanted to read right now. For that, 4 stars instead of 5.
