An interesting book. I wanted to read the book after hearing that the actor who portrayed Chigurh was the closest depiction of a psychopath and they’re right. In the book Chigurn was mysterious, cold and dangerous. True psychopath. The book did drag when  Bell would talk. I would check out but I’m pretty sure the things he were saying where important about law and life in the criminal world.

Anna, please get a backbone. This whole family just tics me off. Here’s the order of who I would box in the ring; Nicole, Benny, Christopher, parents then Justin.  It’s a realistic outlook on a cold family dynamic. I hate the treatment of Anna but she’s the black sheep of the family, but I really don’t like how each time her family do something it would effect her just a little then she goes back to normal. It seems she tries to carry on after each jab but there were some that were inexcusable and she carried on like nothing happened.

The inexcusable jab was when she told her twin brother about her abortion and he then told her sister. When she learned about it she was hurt but then carried on. I think the author should’ve lamented on the betrayal of her brother and the retort she got from her sister.  the dynamic between them should’ve changed drastically but she acted the same towards her family.
I liked the ending and the climax was meh. The ghost isn’t as scary as she is disgusting looking.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.

The main character is…annoying. She’s an omega and she has to come to terms with it as she just recently got kicked from her home. She’s out of her comfort zone and is in a dystopian world filled with raging alphas looking for rare omegas. The concept was interesting until she met a certain alpha. She grapples with her feelings about him. She hates him but wonders “why doesn’t he want me??” But she hates the man? Pick a lane girl.

It’s a short story. The twist was okay but I was more surprised about the aftermath.
When Jessica said its okay i sacrificed my child to the monster, you helped me replace her and she patted her belly I died. That was a twist.

I felt more sympathy for the side characters more than Dorian Gray. Alan, Sibyl, James and especially Basil! Lord Harry is something else I have no love for him.

A dystopian world where books are banned which leads to a society controlled by the government. You can see parts of the book in reality nowadays.  And at first I didn’t like Mildred, montags wife but my feelings changed. She would choose the “family” on tv over her own husband. It’s sad what society done to her.

I was almost finished with the book but to me it became a chore to listen to them basically have sex all the time and it’s boring. Not really passionate and steamy. The plot was interesting and I wished the author spaced out the sex scenes and made it more like them longing for each others touch but they can’t because they’re 2 different species and their separate kingdoms would disapprove. Like that idea only lasted for the year that they were in the castle, next it was sex after that with a little thought to their futures.
