This was such a disappointment, I read cursed cocktails and liked it and thought I would give this a go. Tell me why this book isnt a 50 page novella, cause that's what it should be.
Like barely anything happens and there is so much filler that it leaves the book slow and downright not enjoyable. Plus the ending was super strange and came out of nowhere.

Mixed feelings. I liked this better than book 1 and yet not alot happened that I didnt expect? The reveals I saw coming, i did enjoy the archives and the god of knowledge.
But there is something missing
Maybe it's just second book syndrome.
Still a very good read

I'm emotionally devastated.
There are little words I can say, other than read this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the magic system and how it was explored, time and grief done beautifully well. And at multiple times left me in tears.
It was a "joy" to read (if you know you know) haha

I just honestly dont think the audio book format works for this book, I liked it to an extent but not enough to keep going.

The sheer reliance on tropes and bad dialogue made this book so unenjoyable, plus none of the reveals were at all surprising.
I know this is set the the world as the authors previous work, but I just couldn't find any good world building, half the time I wasnt sure where we even were in the world. (Dont get me started on STREET NAMES, it was like they chose whatever the first found on google)
Save yourself the time and read better vampire books.
