overall enjoyed it! i will say that this book took me a minute to get through, whereas the first book i breezed through. the plot didn’t feel as strong as the first book, but my love for the characters allowed me to finish. i will say there wasn’t much exploration on
Day’s insecurities beyond him mentioning them,
which felt like would be explored more. but there is a third book, so hopefully it’s touched on and worked through more
