What a beautiful debut novel! I was sucked in so quick by the author’s beautiful story telling. This story follows the lives of Aurora, her gran, and mom and their soap opera, tv dinners, and non-conventional lifestyle in a small town in Indiana. There’s friendship, young love, found family, scandal, a beautiful grandma/granddaughter relationship, and emotion! 

I don’t read a lot of contemporary fiction, but I will 100% read anything the author puts out in the future!

Ok this was adorable! The messaging of everyone pain and traumas being valid was something I needed to hear.

Lots of spice, but I felt like it added to the story vs taking away from it.

Carissa Broadbent, you are a force to be reckoned with! 👏

Mische’s story was absolutely immaculate! It went so much deeper than a vampire love story. We dive into some deep topics that affect so many people in real life. If you want a book that’ll encourage you to be the person your child self needed this is it. 

It was a gorgeous and amazing experience reading this book! 🫠
