Meh. It seemed less like a book about the philosophy of the Legend of Zelda, and more like a philosophy course that had an assignment to apply whatever knowledge they had on the games to their studies. I mean, they had strong arguments, but the facts on the LoZ were not always correct.

A beautiful and melancholy display of a individuals waking after a world-ending disaster. Poetry, as the author incorporates the past and present into a story that drives forward knowing that mere "survival is insufficient."

What resilience and fortitude Adeline has to overcome such an existence. I truly admire her ability to continue loving after so much hurt.
I only covered a brief history of China in school, so it was cool to read a little piece of daily life from various Chinese cities.
Wow, though. Niang was just... Bad. I can't imagine ever surviving in any of those situations. "Poignant proof of the human will to endure" for sure.
