judecardan oh my god… all the slowburn was so worth it. ive never seen enemies to lovers go so hard ever like some good fucking food tyvm. i love the never ending politics and scheming and angst and betrayals, i don’t care that things don’t make sense this is just so fun.

such a quick, fun and engaging read! pip is such a force to be reckoned with and ravi was the absolute sweetest. the whodunnit plot here is actually well written, i found myself playing along and i thought i had it down at multiple points, but i was wrong every time. i also loved that the characters were true to themselves and their ages, pip is a teenager and we see that sense of normalcy amongst all the chaos.

immediately reaching for the next book, i need pipravi

a very dark turn and ultimately, a sad ending. it’s kinda
crazy how everything comes full circle, and it’s pretty genius of the author to tie so many people, so many lives and so many crimes together in a dark circle. the ending is hopeful, happy even, but it feels unsatisfactory. yes, justice was served, but in possibly the worst way possible. it breaks my heart to see what pip turned into when all she was trying to do was good, in the beginning. she’s flawed and so are the choices she made, but i was rooting for her all along. the darkest thing about this book is where it leaves pip, even though she got out of this she certainly wasn’t unscathed.

i loved the first book so much because the sense of the sense of normalcy and calm throughout all the chaos, so it’s obvious i didn’t enjoy this as much though i understand why everything happened.

anyway, holly jackson really had my stress levels at an all time high here, and i do really like (and hate) the world created here. pipravi i love u so much and ravi is the most ride or die book bf ever.

a very cute summer read but i feel like i couldn’t really connect to the characters or the romance, maybe because of the pacing but idk it just didn’t hit for me. i loved all the family dynamics and summer vibes, and i appreciate the exploration of grief— i think that was very well done.

started off like a cliched wattpad book, got good in the middle (i love a good slowburn) and then dragged a little too much for my liking. they had a lot of good moments and there was good chemistry between the characters. love a grumpy x sunshine. very cute overall, except they were a little too obsessed with each other for my liking by the end… i guess i just like a little more toned down but this was still super fun to read regardless, a fun one time read

loved the subtle south asian rep

a must read!!!! though simply a beginner text to feminist theory, it is very concise and eloquent in explaining base level ideas that people (men) still have trouble understanding. everyone needs to read this
