Thus was such a great book. It was a little slow at times but the story was very well executed. The pain and struggles that the characters endure were heart-wrenching. A must read.

I wanted to like this more than I did. It had a lot of elements that I'm drawn to.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, it was just a little slower than I like. It was an easy and relaxing read. The characters were likeable and diverse and I loved all of the cultural nuances of the story.
