Don’t you just love a book that slowly pulls you out of a reading slump!
Since Jan21, iykyk, I have been in and out of a slump. Thank you Jess Stevens for helping me. The writing is not only well-structured, but it’s also thought provoking. She helps you connect with the characters, not just the main ones, but also the side characters. I absolutely loved how the story was fast paced, but informative. Her world building was easy to visualize.
This story follows Lissa.
When she was 10years old, her mother was a casualty in a war between two gangs because she was an unclaimed Silver.
Whichever gang, The Vieled. The Splits. The Tanks. And The Cards, controls The Silver, controls the city. Their blood is electricity that powers everything.
The girls who are born with Silver in their veins were taken from their families at a young age and they serve whatever gang that has them.
Lissa was in hiding with her best friend Tayna, until one day at the market place everything went wrong. Now she’s forced to learn how to be The Silver Queen to the Ace of The Cards Gideon.
Rumors are floating that there’s Rebels, giving Lissa hope that a different life might just be possible.
This story has a well structured Plot with twist, likable characters and SPICE!!
This is a game you’d definitely want to join. ♠️

Warning. You will need an extra pair of panties for this read!
This is my first Lea Rose book and my OH my am I an instant fan! Thank for this opportunity of reading your book as an Arc. Lea Rose has the perfect balance of story, plot and spice. The writing was perfection. It flowed and was fast paced and kept me engaged the whole time. I do love a romance book, a slow burn for me, is even better when the author knows what they’re doing and Lea, I tip my hat to you bc this was EVERYTHING!
This was a delicious taboo step sibling romance. The chemistry these two had was pouring from the pages. I have to admit that the spice had depth to it, making it intimate on a special way.
Tobias and Amelia’s story was just absolutely beautiful. His nickname for her is “Firefly”
They move into together, parents request, so Amelia can peruse her Ballet.
One fine day, their feelings were just too strong. This is a slow burn, but so much emotion and banter and will they won’t they, whennnnnnn!! But one the spice takes place, the spice by spicing.
This is a series, but can be read as a standalone, which I have to admit, I need more of Lea Rose.

Have you ever read a story that made you feel seen?
Claudias writing is not only well-structured, but it’s also thought provoking. Writing that helps you connect with the characters. I absolutely loved how the story was fast paced, but informative. You got to see glimpses of Keane’s healing journal.
This is a story you’ll need a box of tissues for.
Keane, use to pour his life into music, but when that stopped he was at a low point that’s when drugs & liquor became a cocktail. A car accident leaving him in a coma for 5years. Now in Luna Harbor, he's looking back on his life, trying to quiet the noise of Seattle. Ophelia was the one who got away because of his selfishness and wrong doing. The accident, not only landed him in a coma, but also losing his unborn child.
Juliana, one day at work receives a call notifying her that her sister, whom she hasn't seen in years is on her death bed and is leaving her daughter Rayne (whom didn't know existed) with her as the legal guardian. When Juliana finds that Rayne isn’t coping well with her mom‘s death, her brother Oliver suggests taking her to Luna Harbor, their childhood summer home, to seek help.
One day Keane was sitting on his deck when he sees a SUV approach the house next door, who steps out, Juliana.
Keane decides to take a yoga trauma informed class and who’s his instructor.. JULIANA! Her voice alone radiated inside of him. And when she said his name, he felt something within him he couldn’t quite place.
Fate has a way of placing these two together.
I went into this read thinking it was only Keane and Juliana who was suffering and while reading, you see Rayne’s pain. Her silent suffering. This story holds so much depth, love and compassion.
I’m so happy I received this read as an ARC bc Claudia, this story will hold a place in my heart. They say reading is therapeutic, this story was just that. Empathetic and Therapeutic.

Sweetness And Madness

When I say your heart will melt, I mean it!
He calls her SWEETNESS!! 💕

Ethan can tell that something just isn’t right with her once she starts her cancer treatments, which no one is aware of.
He plans the cutest first date! (Which thankfully he had a plan B) AND OHHHHH DID THAT NIGHT KEEP GETTING BETTER AND WETTER 🥵
Aside from that night, They secretly want each other, you can feel the tension. They wanting. The desire. but with Mia’s recent diagnoses she feels like life is pulling her back.

I want to start this review off by Thanking Isabella Stofka for picking me as an Arc Reader for her masterpiece.
Isabella’s writing makes her epic world building come to life. Just when I thought “I know what’s going to happen” Isabella proved me WRONG!! She leaves you guessing with her twist. This novel intrigued me most because I do love a good retelling.. this Sleeping Beauty inspired book left me satisfied yet wanting more.
Thicket is not only a beautiful name but a strong FMC who waits for no shining knight to come rescue her.
The dedication alone made you feel seen!
“For all the girls who may not feel like confident badasses all the time…
You can still be the hero of your own story.”
Picture an onion, all those layers. This magical story is like said onion. While reading, you’re peeling away so many layers of the story.. with the characters.. the plot.. and all its mysteries.
I am a fan. Isabella you have made me a believer. 💜

Are you looking for a story that has hidden truths and buried secrets, with a demonstration of female power and strength? If so, look no further.
Kathryn takes Disney’s Brave, The Hunger Games & Shadow and Bone into her hands and creates this masterpiece that will have you captivated from the first chapter. A strong storyline, an amazing plot and add some spice!!!

In order for her to have her own voice , Briar sneaks into the competition. As she fights for her life, her own voice and her destiny she uncovers darkness and hidden secrets about her mother, father and her ancestors.
The suitors either have to stand in the fight with her or against her.

This book is about a forbidden romance. And oh my goodness, it’s everything I needed and wanted.
Everly Claire has crafted this masterpiece into a captivating and thought-provoking romance and dystopian fiction. The characters are strong developed and the story is just breathtaking.
The chemistry between Lou and 773496S6 is real, and their journey is one that kept me devouring the words from these pages.
Lou is a college student striving to excel in her medical classes to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor and break free from her parents' control.
773496S6 is a slave without a name or title. He possesses a high level of education thanks to his former owner.
He’s forbidden to touch Lou. But on a quest to find his sister, he sees that she can become a valuable ally.
This story is utterly different from anything I’ve read. And I’m so happy to have been apart of this ARC! I will def be reading more of Everly Claire!

Want a story that gives you all the Christmas feels.. with a little bit of humor and romance..??
This is YOUR READ!!
The story focuses on Holly, a confident FMC with something to prove to her dad, and MMC Chase, her brother's best friend (he's seven years older) and general nice guy who is in the military.
Holly and Chance are sooooo freaking cute.
They've been friends forever, but Chance is Nicks (Holly's brother) best friend. ((Which is now like my favorite Trope))
My favorite thing about this read is the balance of plot and spice.

I received this Arc through NetGalley for my honest review. And here we go..
Lisa Jewel writing a Jessica Jones book, yes please sign me up.
I was a huge fan of the Netflix show, so when I saw this read I was so excited. This book didn’t disappoint my need for Jessica Jones fix. Lisa was able to capture the Jessica Jones attitude and feel.
Amber Randall’s goes looking for Jessica to hire because her twins aren’t acting like themselves. She’s worried something has happened to them, that someone did something. That they “replaced them”
Jessica travels to a small village to seek the truth. She uncovers that this story is a bit more than what she signed up for.
Evil lurking within the town, and her case is definitely linked somehow to a several-year-old case involving the abduction of three teenaged girls as well as a 30-year-old case of a New York serial killer called the Harlem Vampire.
This read had me at the edge of my seat wanting more. Seeking for more.

Dragon Shifters. Blood Witches. A Heist. Steampunk settings… need I say more?
I was nervous when I noticed the multiple POVs, bc hello my attention span is 🤏🏼 but Brittany Gossin writes effortlessly. Making the characters engaging and each character stealing a piece of your heart. It’s like the words are magic and you’re put under a spell. This read gave me goosebumps. I could not put it down!!
The world building in this read are visuals that was pouring out the pages. Instantly I was drawn into a movie.
The plot is plotting and the spice is spicing in this read.. the banter though oh my goodness, it had me giggling and heart eyed!!
The only HOW DARE YOU, is the cliffhanger at the end!!
Jaw on the floor… and leaving me wanting more !! Oh my heart! Brittany is going to have my anxiety all over the place until book two drops!
