Out of all 3 of the books this one's definitely my favourite. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Sloane and Lucian have so much history and that there's a sprinkle of mystery and curiosity surrounding why their dislike towards each other is so strong. Jumping back in time with both of them and back to the present, seeing how past events are still wounds that haven't yet healed creates a deeper care and understanding for both characters than the previous two books. Lucian was definitely my favourite from the start but I wasn't expecting to love and relate to Sloane as much as I did. The whole Knockemout Trilogy has a special place in my heart, from the bickering, giggles, crazy plot points and the relationship between all the characters I already miss them all. It was such a fun read and it all read so quickly despite the thickness of all the books.

I didn't think this was gonna be my cup of tea and it took me a while to get the feel of the book and really get into it. The plot lost me at some point and I lost a bit of interest at the middle but by no means is this a bad book at all. On the contrary it was really well written and I think people who really enjoy Sci-Fi and time travel you will definitely love this one. I don't think I'm a huge lover of the whole time-travel space concept in general so this rating is very subjective. That twist near the end was so unexpected and the ending was really satisfying and well rounded and I must say I wouldn't have wanted it to end any other way.

I am soooo contemplating a 5 star here. I'm gonna be the one to say it, this being my first RH read, I think I made a really good choice starting with this one. The relationship development **chef's kiss**
It was such a realistic, contemporary read that made the characters relatable, I found myself empathising with a 26 year old ice hockey player named Jake. I even shed multiple tears with him. He has a special place in my little heart. I can't wait to read the rest of her books. I'm absolutely IN.

I definitely agree with all the other book girlies in saying that this one isn't the best of the best but it's still a fun read if you're in a romance mood. There was something about Nash as a character that I just did not enjoy reading, I'm not sure if it was just the fact that I couldn't empathise with him or if it was that maybe I didn't enjoy some of his character traits or even his inner monologue, I couldn't pinpoint it even if I tried but something about him icked me a bit. However, Lina is a queen, she's giving maneater in those stilettos and she slayed all the way. I connected a lot more with her than I did Nash. In the first book I connected more with Knox than Naomi. I started the third one and I already cried twice, Sloane and I are gonna have a journey together.
Going back to this book, I like how the author carried on with the whole criminal hunt plot and actually incorporated it really well into the plot of this book, connecting both characters to it in their own way, it played quite the role in their character development individually and as a couple. Overall, it was okay, I had slightly higher expectations.

I absolutely loved the witty writing style of this book. Every joke was so casual and weaved into conversations so well. Obsessed with the way Arthur just went with the flow of things. I found this to be such a fun read. Not too heavy while still being a page turner.

Pure filth from start to end but don't underestimate the book, it gets deep and it's a perfect prequel to what awaits you in the first book
